Ah thanks. I thought I heard somewhere that the Orson-as-the-murderer scenerio had turned out to be a misunderstanding and he was really a good guy. I'm going to have to go back and watch seasons 2 and 3 one of these days to catch up on things.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned thinking Ida was the one killed. At the end of the episode, that was my first thought. Ida died and the rest survived. I really wouldn't care if she died. Victor is another who cares death. It's clearly not the cat. That cat could die but if it does, then it's not the friend that the narrater is talking about. It's not Tom either, if it is then that would be 2 husbands dead, not one.

Carlos dieing would be a huge lost to the show. I know he'll survive though.

I'm pretty sure its Ida too. But was she really all four ladies friend? I always thought she was just a neighbor to these women. I've never really seen her being friendly with any of the women. All we really know about her is that she's an alcoholic bigot who lived alone and owned a cat.

I hope that if she does turn out to be 'the friend' that the writers don't suddenly pretend that Gaby, Susan, Bree and Lynette were close to her. Because there's been no evidence to support it. Now that would be inconsistent.

Has anyone thought that maybe "loosing" a friend is not necessarily their death? Someone could move, especially if everything they owned was destroyed by a tornado.

If they moved because a tornado then they'd still be friends through emails, phone calls and visits. Especially if they were very close.

Yeah I don't think the voice over is going to take that into account. And know one said they were "very close" When people move you tend to fall out of touch. Susan and Kathryn were very close and they fell out of touch.

Probably. You don't kill off kids in a prime time show and Tom needs to feel guilty that his asthma sent his wife running after Karen who ran after the cat.

Dana Delany and Marc Cherry gave an interview to TV Guide regarding Dana's casting and character.

They mentioned that there was a scene between Katherine and Lee in the Halloween episode that was cut because the episode ran long.

In the scene Lee confronts Katherine about her husband's harrassment case in Chicago and threatens to tell the neighborhood.

Katherine counters by telling Lee she knows he starred in gay porn films. If he spills his guts, so will she.

Thus a Mexican stand-off.

Marc said the scene would appear in the Season 4 DVD collection.
