Do gay people really go to hell???

jockboy01, I love your reply.

But here's something for all to consider: maybe there is no hell.

I thought that the history channel brought out some very interesting points about christianity. The most remarkable being that matthew mark luke and john were not the only gospels written. In fact, mary magdalen (who was never a wicked woman) wrote much on the life of christ. It was mary that organized the spread of christianity. Four hundred years later some zealots decided that mary might encourage women to persue an active role in the church so they created "the whore" But the most amazing deletion of a gospel, was that of Peter. His accountings were concidered unsuitable for the New Testament. Is it just me? or didn't Jesus leave the chuch with Peter? Seems we've all been railroaded.

I'd add, maybe there's no life after death at all. I'd don't care to find the answer to either question for a while yet.

The History Channel will do a lot to fill its programming!

Peter didn't write a Gospel, nor is what has his name on it one. The same is true of Mary, who did not organize the spread of Christianity in the least, and of Judas. Those are all works of fiction, propaganda written long after the fact, basically for reasons of influence and politics.

yeah, frightening NDEs have been suppressed a bit from the accepted reports. but they do happen often. what i think is that, you cant have heeaven without hell, like yo cant have pleasure without pain......

now i also think that we have choices. so IF say we wwere led to believe its all one sided by some dictatato like God, that that very belief could make you go 'oh fuck it' and become evil. think of lapsed catoliks--the MAFIA¬!¬

however, if you see through this crap, you see it aint one sided. its a continuum. and that we canot BE perfect, but we can try to choose with love and humanity.

be ing gay, bisexual, hetero...whatever aint bad....IF you show some care to people, animals Nature, and your feelings......

This thread is continuing testimony that what makes sense to some people really can sound like laughable nonsense to others.

Splitz, your post got me thinking... lately the notion has been going through my head that gays go to hell shortly after they come out. I did, at least -- friends and family both pretty much disowned me. Over a year later, things aren't much better.

It's been mentioned that anti-gay quotes were added by the people of the time. The people did not like those acts because many pagans would engage in homosexual acts as a form of worshipping their pagan Gods. Romans were known to do this. So, it was the fact that they were having sex to worship the pagan Gods not that actual love between homosexuals that was being condemned.

There is no Hell except for that which we create and believe ourselves to be in. I don't need salvation because I'm not damned, and I'm not broken, so please don't try to fix me.

I know that people say homosexuality is encoded on our DNA somehow, but I really think it's deeper than that and imprinted upon our very souls. I believe in reincarnation, and in the next life, I will be gay. Hopefully, it will be a better world by then.
