FX: American Horror Story: Asylum [merged]

Is it sick that I wanted to have a glass of milk after watching the last episode? :(

That girl was hot, but..

Okay y'all. This week's ep was the T.

Fuck Kit, fuck Grace, and fuck Jude. This was all about Lady Lana.

All season I wanted our GOOD sis to escape Briarcliff, write dat tell all, and scoop all the awards. It was her season finale worthy ending, which is why it scares the hell outta me that there's still two episodes left. We know from the previews that Bloody Face 2 is tryna track ha down, and I'ma be mad if she gets got 40+ years down the line after everything she's been through. But on the other hand, we know Lana is bout dat lyfe and I just can't see her not carrying a .45 in her purse.

This season has been an emotional drop zone.

Lana, Kit and Grace will not get happy endings despite getting away from Briarcliff Manor. I just have this ominous feeling about it.

Anyway, the Monsignor and Jude...What the hell was all of that about? Sorry but the two of them suddenly having a falling out was out of nowhere since they seemed to have bonded again in the last episode when the Devil was running amok. And the Monsignor being so willing to throw her under the bus for his ambitions just sets his character development way back since he appeared to have a real breakthrough when he was fighting off the Devil's temptations (trying to convince him to put aside his faith/morals to achieve his goal of getting to Rome). He realized that he had gone off the path of righteousness and seemed to reconnect with his faith like Jude had. Now it's like we're back at square one with the two of them. But the teaser for next episode shows him promising to free Jude. Huh? Ok.

I totally agree about the character development of the Monsignor...this episode didn't work for me mainly because of that. I felt as though it was an entirely different character from last week so the whole story kinda crumbled for me. Insisting that Jude was dead was too creepy and not very believable for his character.

Something about the Lana story isn't working either but I loved when she flipped him off and then later shot him. I'm not sure why but something seems off. Maybe this is a needed transition for whatever happens next?

Who was hat woman at Kit's house?

So Kitt has two women and two newborn babies living in his house. What kinda polygamy...

The devil must have entered him that's the only explanation for the complete turn.

That is what I was wondering when he pushed the sister over the balcony...did the devil leave Mary Eunice or stay inside of her? When the angel of death said she was gonna "take both of you" I was wondering if it was her and possibly a baby or seed of one?...or her and the devil?

Well maybe she planned to take both but then wasn't able to.

I thought she did at first but after seeing the Monsignor suddenly change so much I changed my mind.

I think y'all are looking too far into this Monsignor business.

Ryan Murphy can only juggle so many storylines at once. Haven't y'all ever seen Glee?

Just saw this week's episode earlier today. It was at first hard to get used to the sudden shift in story and how quickly it advanced. With two episodes left, they are doing the complete opposite of last season that ended too quickly. It looks like this time they are stretching it. Really wasn't expecting Lana's escape and book until the last episode. Although I do like that she's going to be trying to get Sister Jude out (I assume once she realizes she's not dead).

OK I am a week behind the US so I didn't read the comments. Just want to give my 2 cents: I have to say that Jessica Lang, Evan Peters and Zachary Quinto kept me watching it. Slow start I thought, I'm still not sure how the hell the Aliens fit in but what I will say is that I love how the horror has changed from the vengeful ghosts of season 1 to human horrors through Alden and spiritual horrors through Sisters Jude and Mary Eunice. Lana recently has come into her own and all the characters I have mentioned their actors deserve rewards especially showing how different the parts are from what they had in S1. Hope we get a S3.
