The sad part of it is, and I'd like to think that you'd agree, is that many of the "pundits" here lately have forgotten that WE'RE ALL Americans.

Win or lose we do so collectively; as Americans.

I'm just more than a little perturbed here lately that whenever one side or the other makes an advance toward the betterment of all there's the "mean girl" waiting to take us all down.

We don't celebrate each other's accomplishments anymore.

That's going to be our down fall as a Republic.

That's nothing to celebrate or call a victory in my opinion.

I know crazy ass bullshit when I smell it, and I've got a pretty good idea that you do too.

I watch a little MSNBC and no Fox.
But last month I was home at my Folks house in Washington and thats all my old man watches, he is addicted and changing into a heartless monster even though he himself receives a decent "public service" pension and still employs as a contractor with the CIA.
While I am familiar with the nut job Beck because of his stint here in Tampa on "powerhouse" redneck AM WFLA 970 (can't hear it 35 miles outside of Tampa at night) and all its bullshit I don't know any of the "Fox and Friends" bullshit on the morning show.
There I am eating breakfast trying to ignore the blaring Samsung TV levered over the breakfast table. These goof balls "fox and friends" are on. I'm not watching but every 10 seconds the word "bankrupt" is mentioned by 1 of the anchors and they rotate heavy with the word so you get the picture that the USA is bankrupt. Talk about overkill.
I glance at the TV wishing it would explode, there is this goofy looking 40 ish blond dude who looks like he should be in a Baby Huey cartoon yelling "Bankrupt" and I am thinking ,..fuck this has got to be a drinking game? Every time they say bankrupt you drink. No one would make it more then 5 minutes before being wasted shit face drunk.
See thats how they get their point over to the target audience, I know that. People like my old man and my uncle who watch this shit like a child molester watches kiddie porn over Lord of the Rings.
These older white men & woman who are afraid get brainwashed like a kid playing mortal combat 12 hrs a day.
Like a suicidal punk listening to Ozzy's Suicide solution over & over before pulling the trigger.
You yell bankrupt, the USA is bankrupt over and over and over and then over again and the old farts even with healthy bank accounts fall into that shit rather its true in part or whole or not its fear mongering brainwashing.

The crawler on Fox and Friends is either talking about titties and sexy shit or how fucking bad Obama is, and how bad anything that ain't fox and friends, Oreilly, Beck wholesome is... what a bullshit fest.

oh the funny thing was after my 83 yr old uncle got done being brainwashed by this shit he came out in the family room to tell me "all the democrats do is spend" but then he moaned about no cola through is SSI and not even getting a $250 one time payment in lieu of the COLA. It was the dem's fault for not voting to give him a $250.00 check

Apparently the scuttlebutt is that Beck has finally jumped the shark with his loony caliphate nonsense and that there is a quiet campaign to oust him at the end of his contract this year.

The problem with “Glenn Beck” is that it has turned into a serial doomsday machine that’s a bummer to watch.

But what will everyone do in this time slot while they're eating their supper in the nursing home dining room or on TV tables in their living rooms?

maddow and o'donnell are far left "journalists" - and on a nightly basis they are taking pot shots at repubs/tea party/dems - it's the format

i personally don't think generally they are "lose it" like Beck - although O'Donnell lately with his "defense" against any comments directed towards the first lady often seems like hs's losing it

my point is there is a great similarity between fox and msnbc - polar opposites - and as it relates to name calling, msnbc does it for more 1/2 hours

Rachel Maddow had a nice surprise last Wednesday when her show got a major ratings boost -- as she covered the protests and injustices in Wisconsin and Ohio. With guests like WI State Senator Jon Erpenbach and OH Congressman Tim Ryan, plus a little segment on Newt Gingrich's website, it goes to show that maybe, just maybe, the public cares about more than Charlie Sheen and the iPad 2. (No dis to the public or the iPad 2.) Mediaite:

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, without the benefit of a buzz-booster like Charlie Sheen, quietly jumped to the elite levels of cable news ratings, outperforming everyone at CNN and MSNBC, and even beating Fox’s Glenn Beck. Maddow hit 452,000 viewers 25-54, easily dominating CNN’s Piers Morgan, who had 208,000. Maddow, who was without any Charlie Sheen-like celebrity guest, even came close to Fox’s Sean Hannity, who won the time period with 561,000.
