Heroes - The Return Thread

ugh.....so it was a great episode but the whole time I wanted them to delve into Mrs. Petrelli's powers!!! I'm thinking that she is the one that Molly can't think about....anyone else think that?! She's the true mastermind behind everything and I think she is the most powerful/evil of all!!

YES!!

I thought the same thing....

I hate her. She's kind of a bitch.

What am I saying? Kind of?

Molly clearly said "he". I think it's someone we don't know yet.

Woops. Just saw that.

Can she tell the sex of someone she is "thinking" about? Maybe she is assuming it's a he?

That would be very interesting if it was Mrs. Petrelli Molly is scared of...I can see her as being a queen bitch villian & I wanted to know more of her powers too, lol

(Personally if she has powers, I think she's either a "see the future" type power or some type of "reality warping" where she can see/experience different outcomes) I'm probably waaay of base, but she just seems like the type who knows there's more than whats actually taking place...anyone else?

And yay love Niki/Jessica> Hope to see more of them in the future

We're both on the same page when it comes to her because if you remember, Peter had dreams and visions in the first few episodes even before coming into contact with Isaac. I think it's because he gets it from his mother. As to what her actual power consists of if that isn't it, I think it very much is something where she gets to witness what happens if you don't do this or that, like you said, getting to see before hand how something will turn out according to what you do.

I have to say though that I really appreciate the writers for not turning the finale into some gigantic X-Men battle. I can already see a lot of people complaining about the episode when I go to work tomorrow because they love the action bits.

What would we give this Freshmen season overall though? I'd say a solid 9. There were very few mistakes or 'bad' episodes and the story was told very entertaingly.

That was fucking epic, so much to enjoy and process. I Am so glad Nikki now can access the strength without Jessica now. So badass watching her knock-out Candace in one punch, then hitting Sylar with to parking Meter. Almost everyone meeting at the end, and Peter meeting Simone's father and talking to him. I'm so glad we got a small preview into next season. THAT WAS SO FUCKING SWEET.

Oh man...Oh man...That was amazing. I can't even begin to talk about how BEAUTIFUL that ending was. The music, Nathan and Peter (and then remembering what Simone's father said about it all being about love), the sacrifice, the .... I am in awe. That was amazing. I will freely admit that I cried...but I was wondering too why Peter couldn't have just flown himself up? Too weak? As hot as I think Sylar is (and I thought I was weird for thinking that), it kind of ruined the ending for me to have the cliche "bad guy somehow survives being impaled on a sword." Other than that...wow...breathtaking.

Why can't next season start next Monday?

:grrr:

I am so freaking obsessed with this show.

I want to make man babies with Claire. I just love her so much. Hayden does a fantastic job to the point of chills for me. Her acting is superb.

Noah? He wasn't born in the 1990's. His name should be Bill or something. ;)

I love Heroes. Don't fuck us over again next season NBC!!

God, I loved the ending.. I was definitely teary-eyed on some parts. It was a great conclusion to a great show. I'm glad to see that Heroes will continue. I thought Season 2 was going to start off with a clean slate, but I'm glad all my favorites will be back next year..

:-)...

*sigh*... Now, what am I going to do until they come back?

I like Noah, I believe the creators said his name would be Biblical, and in what way do you not want NBC to fuck us over again.

I love the name Noah. I just don't think Mr. Bennett looks like a "Noah."

Just the "break" in terms of the show. I had withdrawals when they had that stupid 9 week hiatus in terms of showing new episodes over the winter.

NBC won't let it's one and only (for now) VERY successful show go that long without showing a new episode. Well, at least I hope they aren't THAT stupid.

But then again, look at me. Waited for too long to see a new episode. And loved them all.

So does Niki have the tattoo on her back permanently now or will she not have it anymore? Or what? I'm asking how would it affect her (for people who think she only has a split personality)?

Quite possibly the best ending line for a season finale ever. "@#$%!"

I don't think we know the significance of the "symbol" yet. I could be completely oblivious, but I haven't heard anything about it.

It's been everywhere. The most interesting past (imho) are on Nikki's back, in the sword shop, and on the flag of the warring people at the end of this episode with Hiro.

And the eclipse? No idea.

What are everyone else's thoughts?

^^ From Wikipedia:

The helix

The helixThe helix is a symbol that appears quite frequently throughout the series. The helix symbol consists of an S shape from which three lines extend either to the left or the right. The "S" shape resembles a strand of RNA during transcription, which would make the lines extending outward the nucleotides during the transcription phase.

In episode 12 ("Godsend") the symbol appears on the sword hilt and Ando Masahashi remarks that it appears to be a combination of two Kanji characters: 才 (Sai) meaning "Great Talent" and 与 (Yo) meaning "Godsend". During an interview at the Wizard World in Los Angeles, writer and Co-Producer Aron Coleite stated that it literally means “God sending great ability.” Writer and co-executive producer Micheal Green stated that the writers know it as "the helix"[14]. This symbol frequently appears as a pattern formed by mundane objects, but it also recurs on certain plot-significant items and on several characters:

On various paintings by Isaac Mendez.
On Jessica's back whenever she surfaces as Niki's alternate personality. When Jessica is repressed, the symbol does not appear on Niki's back. This also appeared on a painting of "Jessica" by Isaac. The symbol was hidden under an extra layer of paint. Later on, Jessica hides the symbol (an apparent tattoo) under a layer of foundation makeup.
On the hilt of a katana once owned by 16th century samurai Takezo Kensei, possibly the earliest known manifestation of the symbol. This katana is held by Hiro Nakamura.
Printed on the front of Dr. Chandra Suresh's book, Activating Evolution. The symbol also appears on Chandra Suresh's genetic profiling program.
As a logo for Primatech Paper, in "Company Man".
On jewelry, most notably the Haitian's necklace and Hana Gitelman's earrings and ring.
On a flag at the "Jittetsu Arms" shop in New York and on the shop's ad in the Yellow Pages.

On the flag of a samurai army in 1671, witnessed by Hiro Nakamura in the episode How to Stop an Exploding Man
On the side of Claire's textbook in the episode Collision

When you look at it with all the facts laid out as such, I guess it carries a little more meaning. Genetics, DNA, the helix, people with special abilities etc.

But what does it MEAN???

;)

“God sending great ability.”

If you're asking what is its relevance; fucked if I know yet ;)

I think any first name would take a little getting used to for me, and have you heard about the spin-off mini series that will air during one of the longer hiatis. All together next season will be 30 epsodes. so that will help.

And it's going to be a long.. long.. boat ride until the fall.

Seriously!! If NBC fucks us over AGAIN by splitting up the season, I'm not watching...

OK who the hell am I kidding. I'll be there with bells on. And I hope, as much as I HATE him, Sylar comes back so I can look at his sexy sexy face.
