I suppose it's a better idea to string someone along and waste their time trying not to be mean than it is to be up front about your preferences.
Well of course some of them could have worded it better but you can't fault them for have preferences.
More blacks for me.
No one asked you to date every person you're not attracted to.
What I've actually said is that you should stop telling yourself and everyone else that these are just test tube snowflake individual preferences and that it has absolutely nothing to do with prejudiced beauty standards and prejudiced messaging in prejudiced societies.
So, what would you do about these people who are allegedly brainwashed by the beauty standards of their own society and culture?
some of the profiles there are undesirable and a no no for me.![]()

Anyone can look up intermarriage rates by gender among straight people and see that there's something a little bit more going on than "individual preference."
Oh FFS it's a preference
Everyone's idea of what turns them on is different
So what if they don't like blacks or asians

I see a lot of people handwave this issue with "oh well, who cares. At least you know who the jerks are, win win." That's easy to say when you aren't in the group running up against a strong majority of the small minority of all gay men basically just saying right off the bat they don't want to have anything to do with you. This forum is rather fond of telling bitter single ethnic gay men "well you're single because of your ATTITUDE." True as that might be in some individual cases, the pics above are simply people being more honest than is perhaps typical about what goes on in the gay community (and in society at large) around the topic of race and dating.
Actually on the online world.
If you don't reply, they [STRIKE]will [/STRIKE]get the message. It is that simple.
No need to advertise "NO this, NO that "
Therefore no time wasting, and you get to know who likes you too.
Its a win win and smart.
There's no need in reading the OP or the thread. Grindr is low class and little more than a meat market. Among such base values, it is of no matter if a guy wants beef instead of lamb.
There really isn't a straight equivalent to the gay meat market sites. The average straight male doesn't think, "I'd like to find a mate, so I guess I'll shop Craiglist,| or Grindr, or whatever. And there certainly wouldn't be a crestfallen young Asian girl who boohoos to her friends that some guy on Whore.com posted that Asians need not apply.
It's a tempest in a scumbucket, not relevant to how the vast majority of Americans view or approach interracial dating.
One thing the online world is, is simple.
Just as sellers of second-hand items post "If the listing is still up, the item is still available," then the seller yet fields endless queries of "do you still have your stereo for sale?"
Anyone listing anything online knows that people simply do not read.
People can and do post ad nauseum on the "dating sites" all sorts of warnings and negative messages, often defeating the purpose of their solicitations, and often being outright cranky. Listing race as part of those screenings is but one of the things they broadcast loudly and obnoxiously.
And I stand by my longstanding point that preferences in sex do not constitute meaningful institutional racism. The two are far apart. You can't argue that whitey was regularly fucking his slaves in 1750 and the same man, post-slavery, is oppressing them by preferring not to fuck them. You don't get to argue it both ways.
Sexual preference is sexual preference. It didn't lead to equal rights or freedom then, and it doesn't lead to "blacks need not apply" jobs today. Sex is sex.
