In general, the primary way I think polls don't matter is in predicting the outcome of an election.
What's more interesting -- and significant -- is what always happens after the "vetting": he bounces back again and again.
YThe similarities are striking. And the end result, if he becomes President, would be as similar.
So what's your point in posting this most recent poll?
In general, the primary way I think polls don't matter is in predicting the outcome of an election.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to compare Obama to Bush in any way other than his political skills. Do you really believe he's as evil, stupid and retrograde as Bush? By any measure his policy stances are not wildly different from Hillary's. I can respect your support for Hillary, Nick, but it's statements like these that overreach and undermine your credibility.
Obama still sinking.
First time in a month Obama no longer leads the daily tracking poll.
Looks like American voters were watching the debate.
Whenever voters see the real Obama he sinks.

Look at the way the country has been mobilized. Enthusiastic college kids, the educated factions of society, and even black people - are turning out to vote in droves. And we know their ebullience is not the same as the sober but earnest support we see at Hillary rallies. Watching all these new voters come out of the woodwork droning zombie-like about change is just creepy. Really, it's like watching history happen all over again. Except...
It's never happened before.
With droves of mobilized enthusiastic voters that's never happened before in the history of mankind, and him outspending Hillary nearly 3 to 1 (wonder why with all that ebullient support ...), I'm humbled to be here for the landslide he'll win over her tomorrow in Pennsylvania.
How huge a landslide do you think it'll be?

Say whatever you want about Bush but he didn't trick people into voting for him. That's taking the responsibility off of them. They either knew what they were doing or didn't care.
Oh I don't think anyone's expecting a landslide in PA, ...
As a voter in tomorrows PA primary, I will go out on a limb and predict that Hillary will win but by no more than 3 points.Oh I don't think anyone's expecting a landslide in PA, but then he's not the one who needs to win big there to make his case, is he?
