My tv provider cut the Oscars off just before Sidney Poitier came on. The major categories have yet to be announced. They are idiots. They cut off the Superbowl as well. We didnt see the National Anthem sung. I did record the show after that but not for that reason. Too bad for those not at home and recording it.
Im calling tomorrow and complain. They messed up the tv listing by changing it . . which they changed back probably because people complained about it

There were a lot of mispronunciations, including John Travolta's messing up Idina Menzel <--- really John? You messed up her name

I watched the pre show stuff at my mom's. Then at the start of the show I came home and checked IMDB to see who the winners were.

I had a few friends over for dinner. We had a nice time, they left around 11:30 a half hour before it ended. Ellen sucked. the show was okay itself. Too long with too much filler in between.
