Honestly, I think that's a bit of a reach.

I was wondering about how the identification of the suspects played out this week...
bombing victim in iconic photo helped identify attackers
I'm so happy he was able to assist in this investigation in such a way, especially since these monsters caused him such a horrific injury. Praying for this guy. Such bravery...and a hero, in my opinion.
Who were these geniuses? CNN was speculating about Right Wing, Tea Party, White Southern Racist theories way before any photos were released by the authorities because in the liberal media, it is acceptable to speculate about white males, but when NYPost was speculating possible Middle Estern/Muslim terrorist, every liberal blogger was screaming racism and intolerance. God forbid people dare to think about Islamist radical terrorism especially since for past 10 years, people associated with Islamic beliefs are primary group responsible for terrorism around the world. It was a very sad day at MSNBC and Salon that their prayers that this be a domestic white, red neck NRA terrorist has not come to fruition. Many people thought that, Atl. It all seemed to add up.
April 15th? (tax day) Site of Boston Tea Party? Patriot Day?
But the truth has been revealed that they were Chechnyan rebels. Who would have thought that, in a million years? Chehnyans in the US?
They were geniuses. Sheer genius. They had millions of people looking for Teabaggers.
Atldude, you are a gentle, kind soul, but a little naive about the right wing. Right wing extremists have caused violence for years. Remember Timothy McVeigh? Randy Weaver?
Don't you remember that rightwing cell in Michigan, who'd laid concrete plans for multi-city bombings? The FBI stopped them at the 23rd hour.

The BBC News says the interrogation will be done under Federal laws rather than state laws.

I wonder how interesting the method of questioning will be...

I didnt know Chechens were Muslims (until I read it just now)

The majority of Chechens are Muslims, and the Council on Foreign Relations say that there are several ties between Chechen militants and Al Qaeda, noting that the U.S. has publicly said that Osama bin Laden had "fueled the flames in Chechnya."
What does puzzle me is what they thought they would accomplish. The whole thing would have made much more sense if they'd chosen a Russian target. What would a Chechnyan hope to accomplish by targeting an American target?
