^Perhaps that ballot should be printed with a check by her name. Or would that be too blatant?
Well, maybe if they waited more than a few hours before crowning her the presumptive nominee, someone else might have spoken up.Who else said they wanted to run?
Not even accurate.
Precisely.Who else said they wanted to run?
They are proud of their Don&Nikki Punch&Judy show, that we can not see in the Dem field. Not even accurate.
It is an open convention and others could put themselves forward. And get delegates to vote for them.
What we know though is that there are already enough committed delegates supporting her to get the nomination.
The right wing feverish wet dream of a chaotic and divisive primary selection process packed into a one month period in order to redo 2016 just isn't going to happen.
And even Bernie, the God to all the Bernie Bros of 2016 is right behind Kamala.
And a major reason why I hate that party is the recent history with presidential nominees. As we've said...wouldn't matter what they did or who they chose, you have repeatedly declared you hate the Democrats so you'd be the forst to criticize the party choice.
...And even Bernie, the God to all the Bernie Bros of 2016 is right behind Kamala.
I don't think you're going to get any sympathy. Whoever the Democrats picked, by whatever process you would complain. And a major reason why I hate that party is the recent history with presidential nominees.
If and when they decide to start doing fair primaries, then I'll be happy to revise my opinion.

fair primaries
Under party rules, a candidate qualifies to compete for the nomination by submitting a notarized declaration of candidacy, meeting legal requirements to be president and securing the electronic signatures of at least 300 delegates, with no more than 50 signatures from any one delegation counting toward the 300 minimum. The DNC announced that 3,923 delegates had petitioned to nominate Harris. (A candidate needs to secure 1,967 delegates for the Democratic Party nomination.)
Harris to be sole Democratic presidential candidate heading into official party vote (Associated Press; July 30, 2024)
Maybe technically. But I don't consider it a fair primary when situations such as party elite engineer things in the background to sabotage a candidate, which seems very likely to have happened in 2020. And I really have to wonder about this year. Did they engineer it so that Biden would stay in the race, until it was time to engineer a swap? The same rules applied to everyone.
