Post Presidential opinions regarding LGBT rights in the future

And here we are again.

After the trans, it will be women, then blacks and hispanics.

Trump is back asking the Supreme Court to uphold his ban on trans people in the military.

Enjoy that piece of pie, Caitlin Jenner.

And...

And Samuel Alito and the Supreme Court may be banning homo friendly books from schools.....the march towards 'Don't Say Gay' across the USA begins because apparently homophobes can't read.

He wants to kill millions of people and make many more millions suffer needlessly.
If there is such a thing as real evil, Trump is the embodiment of it.

Words come to mind about Jenner and none of 'em are polite. She'll be the last of the first to go, the raging fool

And this shit still happens. WTF are State police doing that they have so much time for this?

But I bet that some of the down low members of the force were hoping to get a BJ in the patrol car.

And more seriously:

The SC again sides with TrumpCo. on banning trans people in the military. At least while the case is being heard.

So you can be sure that TrumpCo. will eject them all. Even if the ban is ultimately overturned, the US military will never again be a safe place for trans people.

This type of erasure is so significant that it will end up serving as a wobbly precedent while the case is still being litigated at the lower court. Expect to see the right use it to block trans people in the police and other positions while they can.

I suspect it will die in Committee.

But Mike Lee will be able to suck his sponsors' taint and use this in his campaign messaging.

What a godly man, eh?

And a "Constitutional law expert" and "free speech advocate".

It is about as cynical and performative a piece of silliness as I have seen out of the GQP.

But he knows he can raise a lot of money off this.

No surprise it is this judge.

And then there is this happening.

^ So depressing.

I realize that states can pass their 'don't say gay' laws and the SC won't roll them back.

Nice move for Pride month.

Also in the article:

The Navy is also considering renaming ships named after other prominent civil rights leaders, including the USNS Thurgood Marshall, USNS Ruth Bader Ginsburg, USNS Harriet Tubman, USNS Dolores Huerta, USNS Lucy Stone, USNS Cesar Chavez, and USNS Medgar Evers, according to a report by [CBS News.

I'm not a fan of naming military assets after people who weren't military heroes. Does anyone believe that Harriet Tubman or Ruth Bader Ginsburg would have been happy about something used in a war bearing her name?

Also not a fan of Secretaries of Defense who waste time with performative politics instead of doing their job. He's a security threat. Why haven't they gotten rid of him yet?

Good point.

How many credible alternative candidates would be willing to serve under Trump?

Good point.
It reminds me of a politician that I respect who was offered a chance to have a prison named after them. They said, "No. Name a school after me because that's what I want to be remembered for."

I don't think Trump is on the market looking for "credible candidates". Otherwise, he wouldn't have 23 former Murdoch employees in his administration.
