  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Race and gay guys.

It's not just the muscles that attract me, though. I think it is the skin complexion. I am more likely to find a lighter skinned Black male more attractive than a darker skinned Black male.

But, I typically am not attracted at the sight of Latinos, unless they resemble an American-Latino mix, and nor am I attracted to Asians at all, even IF there is a mix of American in them.

I would take will Smith over SEAL, I would take Ricky Martin over George Lopez and hell there are LOTS of white folks i dont want anything to do with. It is what it is.

Although i prefer Native American" aka white guys, i do however keep my eyes open for some nice African cock every so often :)

Babi's right. It is racism. Man up and admit it. I admit I have sexual preferences, for example, am usually (though not always) not attracted to black men. Does it make me a racist? Yeah, a little bit. Doesn't mean I'm a cross burning Klan member, or that my best friends can't be black (as some are). But there's a bit of racism lingering there. Is it our fault? Who knows, it probably has something to do with society fucking over black and asian men and glorifying whites.

Ask some guys (of any race) why they wouldn't be into asian men, they will say racist shit like the asians have small dicks, or they're whiny, or they're fem... is that not racist?

Real preferences are based on physical attibutrs. Like you may be attracted to skinny men, or musuclar men, or chubs. That's preference. So if you like muscle men with six pack abs, why does a white guy stand out to you, but you wont go for a black guy with the same body type?

Racism. A bit of it. I have it, you have it.

^Black men physically look different than white men. Same with asian men, latino men, arab men.

It isn't racism, what about it is racist?

Not true! You are not saying I do not want to talk to a black person because I am superior over them! You are not saying I think blacks should be slaves again or go back to Africa THATS WHAT YOU CALL RACIST.! You cant say someones a racist for their sexual preferences! I know people who are not attracted to Black girls and they are not racist! In fact they have many black friends who they love! I also know black girls who are not sexually attracted to white men Different races have different physical attributes and different complexions.... wider noses, smaller eyes, lighter or darker skin, and more! The things you may like in a person may fit into one race more than others! For example: If someone likes blonde hair and blue eyes and light skinned people that fits more wit Caucasian.

i'm not sure i understand this. it's obvious that someone's personal preference is what drives the people they're attracted to...

is the original poster just trying to get someone to say they're racist? i don't understand the point of trying to beat this subject to death....

you date what you like. end of story.

No, it is not the end of the story and nevermind racism for a minute. Why do we like what we like? That's an interesting question.

And why don't I notice these things? Or rather I do, but I like them all!

Cupcake..you realize there's differeing degrees of racism? It's not like you either think black people are slaves and should go back to africa or you love them... there's a huge middle ground.

Racism can be subtle, it can be slight, it can be not obvious. But its there.

And Ethan, stereotyping is racism.

What was the racism of America 100 years like? stereotyping blacks and asians as this or that, which is, ironically, what many sexual racists describe blacks and asians as. example: Blacks have full lips they're animals etc, or asians are tiny whiny small dicks, same imagery used.

Sexual preference racism is like the quiet racism in the whites only country club.

Racism doesn't have to be the extremes. its the little things

For me it is about preference - Like choosing between vanilla Ice Cream or Chocolate Ice Cream is about preference. Reading some of the responses here now makes me worrry if choosing Vanilla Ice Cream makes me a little bit racist?
If I am going to eat Ice Cream at all - it better be a really good quality creamy Ice Cream made from wholesome organic ingredients, with no additives. Otherwise I would not have some at all - Vanilla or Chocolate.

Right, there's a difference between the dictionary definition of racism and smaller, subtle levels of racism. I'm not referring to the dictionary definition. But apparently you only understand things in black or white. You're either racist or you're not. You're either good or you're bad.

Ever stop to think there's a middle ground, a grey area? Someone may not be dictionary definition racist, but still be prejudiced and discriminatory. Which is what you are, since you don't sleep with black and Asian men on the basis of their race alone. Really, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

I don't get how preference can be racist... you say preference shouldn't be about race but physical looks???? WELL LET ME EXPLAIN ONCE AGAIN! Different races or ethnic groups have different physical traits that may or may not be MORE attractive to you than others! Just because you don't wanna date or have sex with someone because they are not your type does not mean you hate them or are racist!

some people may like a lighter complexion... some may like darker... fuller lips, wider noses, smaller eyes, different type hair textures, different cultures and styles (rocker, athletic, latin culture, asian cultures,etc....)

ONCE AGAIN THIS POST WILL BE IGNORED! AFTER ME AND APOLLO EXPLAINED HOW DIFFERENT RACES HAVE DIFFERENT FEATURES! Some of you guys still say "Oh well you are not explaining it"

So question...
After you find a white guy who is willing to have sex with you, do you say "Thank ya suh..." and then shine his shoes for him too?

Phony ass gay Tom. I wouldn't be surprised if you said "cock" too. Seriously...white men can HAVE your fake, sad ass because you're of no use to the black community. None. They'd be doing us a favor to take you. Good riddance.
LMFAO you sound ignorant and very bitter.

And Ethan, stereotyping is racism.

Nope.

There are all kinds of stereotypes that have nothing to do with race, such as fat men as jolly, nerds who dress as squares, etc.

Racism does manifest itself in stereotypes. But they are not one and the same.

Does anyone see a law being passed where you are not allowed to turn down having sex with someone based on their race or looks or age? What are the possibilities of that happening?

I believe it was a dictionary definition of racism and stereotypes.

Not racism and subtle levels of racism. No one defines stereotypes that way.

Ugh, I never thought I'd put my two cents into THIS discussion...

I get very self-conscious when I force myself to reflect about the kind of guys I like and/or would like to have sex with. Maybe the best way for me to get through this inner dialogue would be to analyze my porn preference (your taste in porn often reflects your taste in real life). Just by looking at the (copious) porn on my computer, I see that most of the guys are white. Do I enjoy watching guys of other races? On occassion, yes but it's not a regular thing. Could I be unconsciously racist because I prefer white guys? Maybe. But then again, I work with plenty of minorities and some of my colleagues are black. I couldn't care less what color of skin you have as long as you can do your job and we can collaborate professionally. Hanging out after work with for a few beers works miracles with me also.

So, I guess the crux of it (for me, at least) are these two fundamental questions:

1. Are preferences in choosing our sexual partners (in terms of race) a microcosm of our personal racial lense?

2. How can we reconcile our racial preferences in the social setting and in the personal setting?

Ugh, my head hurts.

:=D: I guess if I don't like women sexually I am sexist, and if I do not like guys that are way older than me like 50 and higher I am ageist?

It's just giving me a headache.

I'm making tea. Whomever wants may join me regardless of ethnicity or dating/ partner choices.

Sounds like a great idea. But I hope you're serving green tea. Black teas don't agree with me.
