Racism in the Gay Commuinty

I would like to hear many people opinions about this topic. i wanted to know do many people believe that racism exists in the gay community why or why not? I was reading many blogs and vlogs about this and it was just intresting to see what people have to say.

I can tell you that back when I was 16ish, back when being gay was a new concept to me and I was shaping up ideas about being part of a community of people who were different from the norm in many ways, I naively assumed gays were automatically more tolerant, accepting of other genders, races, cultures.

What do you know, gays are really normal people, we have our fair share of racists, bigots and crazies too.

Yes, it exists. I don't think it exists to any greater degree than it does in the straight world, but I DO think it seems gays seem more likely to dismiss it.

OF COURSE it does......that's like asking if police brutality and corruption take place in the law enforcement community!

People can turn a 'blind eye' to it all they want, but we all know it still is very prevalent.

Just let it go and move on....it's a neverending vicious cycle.....sort of self-explainatory IMHO
