I hope you are both safe and well. I hope you are as happy as you can be. The lockdown has taken such a stranglehold on everything now. I know, it’s to help everyone keep their distance so we keep the virus at a much lower level. To keep people as safe as possible. I don’t think it can be lifted until there is a vaccine though. That’s what keeps going round and round in my mind. Plus the emptiness. The deserted streets. Whether I at a personal level can survive it I don’t know. Mum, my aunt, Dad, everyone I can think of, would all have been so upset, but also, I think they may have accepted the need for it quite well.

Many thanks for the good wishes and wonderful and gorgeous pics

I actually didn't have a problem with my internet, until the engineer tried to fix my landline on Saturday
My landline went off last week and so I reported it. Nothing happened, until I got home from work on Saturday evening and found I had no internet. I thought they were working on it, so despite the frustration, I didn't contact BT again. Yesterday though I went to my sister's house and whilst standing outside, I connected to her internet and so was able to check my emails. BT had emailed (more than once) about the problem, including informing me that I would need to book an appointment for an engineer to come to my house. So, yesterday afternoon, I eventually got through to them on my mobile phone and booked an engineer for sometime this morning. He started work on it in the mid/late morning and everything was working by early afternoon. He never actually came to the house though, or at least he never knocked on the door and I have not had any further communication from BT.
Round here the roads and streets are definitely quieter and less busy but not entirely deserted. I took my nephew for a walk to the park yesterday and there were still people using it.
Perhaps they think everyone gets mail on their phones, a silly thought for an internet provider. Anyway, glad you're back.

I’m glad you and your nephew are okay. But it sounds as if BT are infinitely worse than the ISP I have to try and rely on. They are the one who are based in Hull. They begin with a letter K. I thought, along with everyone else, they were a load of rubbish, but BT are definitely much worse than that after the way they treated you.
"There is no cure for stupid."
Loved it!

Thank you

I'm usually quite happy with BT (apart from the prices they charge me!), as I've not had many problems over the years. However, for a communications company, they really dropped the ball this time. I mean it's not like there's this magical device that allows people to call or text each other, is there?
