Since the Republicans will probably control Congress, perhaps Hussein will suddenly be willing to work with Congress. Even more so if they end the filibuster.^ I have to agree.
As I've said repeatedly...Obama has behaved like a legislator and not an executive on many occasions...all because he and the Dems are afraid that they wouldn't have the second term.
Give Obama another 4 years and I think the picture will be much different in terms of how the White House deals with Congress.

Benvolio, luv, can you please explain to the world how much more compromising "Hussein" needs to do? Especially when the GOP's official policy has been "no compromise, kill the n***er with fire"? Like, OFFICIAL POLICY. IN A FUCKING PUBLIC STATEMENT!
You can say exactly the same about the Democrats. I takes two to tango. Notice that CGs complaunt below is that the Repiblicans did "obstruct Obama"i.e. they did not do as Obama wanted. When were the Dems willing to compromise?

Obama and Democrats have made several efforts to meet the Republicans half way and gotten little for it. Dropping the public option from the ACA would be one prime example.
You call that half way?
I don't seem to recall seeing that particular policy statement in any Republican publications. The closest I heard is some Republicans saying the goal was to make Obama a one term president without the racist overtones, but that is not official policy just a position statement. Every party has a goal spoken or not of getting their candidate elected so it is rather a given anyway.
You lie. They said no such thing. No official policy. No statement, public or otherwise.
Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock, who defeated long-time Sen. Richard Lugar in the Republican primary Tuesday, has a new twist on bipartisanship.
Reacting to a statement from Lugar slamming his embrace of an "unrelenting partisan mindset," Mourdock said, "I have a mindset that says bipartisanship ought to consist of Democrats coming to the Republican point of view," he said Wednesday on "Fox & Friends."
How about this from Richard Mourdock, Republican Candidate for US Senate who beat Sen. Lugar:
Richard Mourdock: Bipartisanship Ought To Be Democrats Siding With The GOP
This is the guy Mitt Romney appeared on the campaign trail with this weekend. I haven't heard of any Republicans repudiating Mourdock's comments. Incumbent Republicans, most of whom are quite conservative, have been losing primaries to Tea Party candidates for being too compromising with Democrats. You are so partisan that you are blind to reality and basic facts (not unlike most Republicans).
Yes, of course, I meant the intent. Which, btw, IS racist. All the accusations against Obama, everything anybody has said in trying to disqualify him, has been in the theme of "he's different than us". Be it black, foreign, Muslim or whatever.

I was responding to Roly's lie that the Republicans said "kill the n....". Objecting to his being foreign or Muslim would be perfectly logical. It is logical to prefer someone who appreciates our culture, our economy, our values, our traditions. Calling that "racist" is another falsehood. Liberals frequently accuse Republicans of being "outside the mainstream".
A poll last month by CBS News and The New York Times found Congress with a 12 percent approval rating and 79 percent disapproval score.
More broadly, just 151 laws have been enacted in 19 months: More than two dozen of those were to rename post offices and courthouses, or add individuals to the Smithsonian board. By comparison, the previous Congress enacted 383 laws with President Barack Obama in the White House and Democrats controlling Capitol Hill.

^ What you will find if you Google it is a very sad indictment of race relation s in the US. Tragic.
