Retaining The Ashes 2006/7

It's getting closer!!! November beckons.

What excuses will Australia use to explain failing to retain the Ashes in Australia?

All the papers here in the land of the ASHES HOLDERS are reminding everyone that it's only 50 days to the first Test Match: 23/11/2006 in Brisbane.

Could all Australian JUBber cricket fans please get their excuses for not winning back the Ashes in before this date.:D

England lost embarrassingly to India in the ICC Champions Trophy today. But it's all part of the masterplan to confuse the Australians before the upcoming Ashes series.

We have just had Friday the 13th. Freddie is Back!..|

And today at the ICC Champions Trophy, Australia bundled the Poms out for 169, their last 10 wickets falling for 86! This performance indicative of the their performance next and following months in Australia?

Well done to the Aussies.:=D:

But, as we know, ODIs are very different to Test Matches - especially Ashes Test matches.

Not long to go...and I can't wait.:D

so how many days until england lose the ashes for another 16 years;)

ctm: It's going to be tough. It's going to be a hard-fought series. And the odds are staked against them. But Australians should'nt get downhearted...|

Remember, "it's not over 'til the fat lady sings." And, as we know, that boy Shane can make that ball sing!!!;)

Have good time in Melbourne 26/12 onwards.

23 days to go to the first Test in Brisbane. Shane Warne was 23 when he made his Test debut in 1993 v England in England, and bowled out Gatting first ball. And what a ball it was!!! Since called one of the greatest balls of all time.

Can Shane make such an impact in the upcoming Ashes series?

well england has a population of wat 55 million and australia 20 million, you hav a major advantage.

All the ranking/rating tables put Australia at #1 in the world. England in #2 position.

Great to see the Windies will be playing the Aussies in the ICC final on Sunday 05/11/06. Should be a great game: Australia should win, but...

Then: 1st Ashes Test in Brisbane 23/11/06. Predictions?
