I don't believe this to be true. Nobody in the village could possibly be a gay I'm the only one that's why i will never experience any bum fun I'm doomed to stay a virgin forever.
With all the homophobia out there I'm forced to marry a woman and live a lie. I even searched the internet and not a single gay website to be found.
I must be the only gay on the entire website.
Where do I delete my account?
Okayy.
I noticed that the thread only has three pages. Had it stayed here it would have had about seven by now.
In relevant news...I have just heard on the radio that there has been a big uptick in the number of calls to suicide crisis help-lines over the last few days.....the bad news is that there is always an increase in suicides after a high profile death like Williams'...the good news is that his death has blown the closet door wide open.
Mental illness is not a communicable disease, but there’s a strong body of evidence that suicide is still contagious. Publicity surrounding a suicide has been repeatedly and definitively linked to a subsequent increase in suicide, especially among young people. Analysis suggests that at least 5 percent of youth suicides are influenced by contagion.
People who kill themselves are already vulnerable, but publicity around another suicide appears to make a difference as they are considering their options. The evidence suggests that suicide “outbreaks” and “clusters” are real phenomena; one death can set off others. There’s a particularly strong effect from celebrity suicides.

Funny, I can say the same thing about the Celeb forum that YOU frequent all the time, because nothing says "seeking attention" like sharing the lust of the hive mind. And that rings 100% in the Show Yourself Off forum, where mostly everyone "just turned" 18 or is "straight/curious, but please talk about how big and beautiful my dick is... I mean, you'll never get to touch it but I REALLY wanna know that gay men like just my dick!".
So, you know, maybe it's not so difficult to see why people - like you, for instance - seek so much attention from total strangers on a gay porn website. That YOU signed up for.
Since when? We've been discussing both the serious and the lighthearted since I joined 8 years ago.
Wow. Talk about sarcasm Chill out man. That didn't answer the question. So you can lose the sarcasm.
Telstra, I think you are mistaken about the mechanisms of depression.
Offering him another mansion for free would not have caused him to stop and say "Oh, well that's better! I'd better go on living now! Thanks!"
Depression is more like diabetes. In some cases, you can manage your thoughts and emotions, just like a diabetic can manage their sugar intake through a careful diet. If so, depression may not bother you and may not even really sway the course of your life once it is identified and managed.
However for others it is more chaotic, and, just like an insulin dependent diabetic must have medical support to survive, people can't just will depression away or go without treatment. And, just like a diabetic can be caught off guard and drive off the road, a person with depression can be caught off guard and struggle to overcome its effects.
It's important to note that a person with depression is like a person with diabetes: even when it is well managed, they still have the disease. The parts of the brain that deal with self-preservation, experience of happiness, calm or contentment, perspective, resiliency, the ability to get outside one's own head, all of those can be as vulnerable as the pancreas of a person with diabetes.
2. Moving a thread is perfectly fine. This is the reason there are so many Forum titles. People need to realize there are different headings.
The only reason people start threads in HT is because they seek (and probably, desperately NEED) attention from total strangers on a gay porn website. Total...strangers...on...a...gay...porn...website.
Difficult to ascertain why so many seek attention from total strangers on a porn website...
HT is not a serious forum. The aforementioned topics are and shouldn't be exposed to its levity. Granted this is the most viewed forum and that is the reason so many decline to post in the others, but I have never abused it in that way. Others shouldn't either.
Oh well apparently you missed the OP. I suggest you read it.
Would a petition make them listen? I believe it belongs in HT but I doubt they will ever move it back now. There are many misconceptions about depression, and that thread is proof positive.
I think we should petition the mods to move it back.
Anyway...
Where is the Robin Williams thread...???
Oh, there it is, in the...MALE CELEBS Forum...!!! Wow, who would have thought?!?!? After all, RW was a male and he was a celeb, soooo...
On a serious note, why has no one started a Depression and Suicide thread in the H&W Forum...??? (As of 8/13/2014)
Would a petition make them listen? I believe it belongs in HT but I doubt they will ever move it back now.
