This is not about who is "owed" shit. Anybody voting butthurt over policy is an asshole. Bernie (I can't believe people are STILL whining about this) whom I voted for in the primary was never going to win, never. He'd have gone down bigger than Hillary who at least had the center - and got the most votes. In a regular cycle with an actual moderate conservative, what the fuck ever.

It's not a regular cycle and it's not going to be for the foreseeable future. IF people stay home or vote for people who are not going to win no matter what they are responsible for the Autocrat they elect and the damage we'll all face.

It's a binary choice. We no longer have the luxury of complaining precisely because we complained ourselves right into Donald Trump and it looks like we're going to whine ourselves right into Dictator Toad.

I was going to hold my nose and vote for Hillary. Not keen on the idea of Bill being back in the White House, he had his turn. But Romney or McCain? No way.
So anyway. We went to visit Mom in the nursing home one nice Summer day and went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. Yeah, annoying wall mounted TVs all showing CNN. I'm eating my enchiladas and there's the head of the flipping FBI saying "she did this, she broke the law, we aren't going to prosecute because it would interfere with the Election". Remember her mail server in the bathroom, anyone?

Scratch her. This was before The Evil Orange Demon rode down his escalator. Just for all of the spittle and screaming on the TV, if he's so so so horrible, I'm gonna vote for him. Maybe a change would be good.
I don't recall ever seeing The Apprentice because I was doing shit like working.

Bernie was not going to win. He lost the primary because centrist Dems and African Americans (the biggest bloc by far) and Independents generally found him too far on the left policy wise for their own silly comfort.
