But I do care about your respect for our President. Like it or not, Barrack Hussein Obama is the President of the United States. You may think you're entitled to be juvenile and snide about him occupying the office, but if you want to be regarded as an American by others, you should bloody well straighten your spine, dredge up whatever remnants of civility someone taiught you in childhood, and refer to him in appropriate terms. Preferably, since you seem to have made it a point to forget your manners, you should refer to him as President Obama.

Who is name calling? It's called stating the truth. And it has everything to do with Ryan's lack of character. He went into a soup kitchen that was non-partisan and didn't get permission. Read the thread again please.

FOX NEWS has been around for nearly the same amount of time spewing lies, invective, and propoganda.

The point would be?

One is a Corporate Mouth piece of an Australian, and the other is an American Citizen exercising his First Amendment Rights.

It's sad that those two distinct differences must be pointed out.

I can't figure out what's worse; immigrants who cross our borders and 'take our jobs' or non-resident immigrants who try to tell us how to vote through their media conglomerates.

They were given the okay, but the staff member didn't have the authority to do it. (which neither the campaign, or the staff member apparently didn't know) That isn't trespassing.

Ok so now the apparently clean dishes are dirty. A campaign aide sought and received permission to gain access by a volunteer unaware of the apolitical motivations of the group.

I think it is clear when a guy says he will cut spending to these type of organizations and then makes it a point to pander to peoples sympathies then it is misleading.

I will also say thank goodness we can still continue the discussion and get to these finer points.

It's a situation that's been established by precedent: if a legitimate employee of an organization grants access (or other privilege), acting on that grant cannot bring legal liability so long as the grant is not contradicted by another employee.

It's one that could have gotten me a few thousand bucks once in El Paso, if I'd known about it.

So however much I would like to have seen Ryan arrested, since someone there had told him he could come in, he wasn't committing trespass. Depending on statutes, however, he might have committed a violation by washing dishes without prior training.

To use a famous line, "What we have here is a failure to communicate".
