That is what kills me... you wont see Obama at a Klan rally for people he would rather not be around or acknowledge but if it was socially acceptable and could garner one single vote you bet your akin that Romney or Ryan would be there.

wow- this thread was locked/closed yesterday because we were told nothing more could be said- since then, it was re opened and about 44 posts since have made it a 2 pager....of course, no explanation was tendered why it was re opened- no apolgies to the OP for closing it, the running of this place gets stranger and stranger....

It turns out there is a lot to be said "substantively" about the chasm between Ryan's words and controversial photo-ops and his actual Randian views and policies regarding the poor...

Not surprising. Lots of disapointing behavior from someone as of late on this site, and frankly, it's becoming more second rate by the day.

Ryan is clueless about anything that wasn't written by or conforms to Ayn Rand. All his actions and statements have to fit into that fanatic faith -- no other measure matters.

So he doesn't get that with his stunt he actually insulted all the people who actually do the work of helping the poor, or have done so. And he definitely doesn't get that his policies would make it necessary to have about five times as many such places.
