That is, every time they drop out of FTL -- the ship drops out of ftl -- it's near enough to a place where a working stargate exists that they can go there.
"Empire Strikes Back? . . . Okay! I refuse to call it Episode Five!"
No. It drops out of FTL at planets which can solve an immediate problem at hand (water, fuel, CO2 scrubbers). Then it becomes a 'scavenger hunt' of sorts since the crew has to search for the solution which isn't always immediately apparent.
It doesn't just stop willy-nilly whenever it passes a stargate, which is why someone must learn how to control the ship.
the ship is a system trying to keep itself and it's crew alive. no matter if humans or not .. the atlantians (or ancients) respect life very much.
It seems to me that it is quickly becoming the SGU Space Opera. All these relationships and love affairs (both on Destiny and with the exchanges back on Earth) are getting very tiresome very fast.
If they keep this up, I won't be watching much longer.
Anybody else agree?
