Straight Lad with a Problem

Hi Amost! Glad to see you posting again. Sounds to me like you have a very loving family and a tight bro. Yea, it will take everyone time to adjust. Maybe a year or more I guess, to fully accept you for who you are. The same son and brother they always new. I am curios Almost. Haze the response of the people posting here been of help to you? It takes time and courage. I am happy for you, Almost. Fond regards
Yeah I've taken some advice onboard and it's helped. Also don't like talking about some of this shit with my mates so it's good for me to vent.

Don't think my parants will ever accept me being gay though, my brother told me somethings that were said by them and can't see them changing their opinion.

While some parents never accept their kids being gay, that is by far the exception, not the rule. Most parents come to some level of acceptance after some time. The level may just be avoiding the issue altogether (i.e. don't ask, don't tell), others learn to tolerate it even though they don't like it and some end up doing 180 degree turn and accept it. Keep an open mind about their position in the future. It could very well change in time. For now, I would continue with your current plan of letting them think it was just a phase that you are over. Once you are out of school and are on your own, then you can tell them.

I've got a new question, things are going well with Martin and moving along nicely. However I think he wants us to have sex but I'm worried seeing as I've never been with a guy that I'm going to be shit or really quick.

Aw ... that's O.K.! "Performance Anxiety" is perfectly natural! Even if someone has done "it" before, a "new guy" can make them a little anxious, too.

Talk to Martin! It's even O.K. to admit you might be a little embarrassed talking about it! The main thing is being Open, Honest, and "Up Front" about how You're feeling. Let Him know!

Has He "played around" before?

Don't hold back! Don't be all "Macho"! He'll understand!

Just RELAX! "Go with the flow"! Be Yourself!! ENJOY!!!

And ... of course ... no matter what ...

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz ;)

As the saying goes, there is a first time for everything. Chaz has good advice about talking to Martin and relaxing. Also, don't put pressure on yourself for things to be spectacular. That's not realistic and will only increase your anxiety. Just relax and have a good time. If you have a good time, Martin will as well.

Yeah Martin has been with 2 guys before. I've been with a lass however seeing that I am gay it wasn't the greatest sexual experience to say the least.

Sounds like you guys have already talked a little about it. If you haven't already, tell him that you have never been with a guy and you are a little nervous. I'm sure everything will be fine.

James sounds jealous, lol

And just tell him that you have little experience with guys so you want him to show you what's what and take it from there.

Or you could just go with the flow and try to turn him on by stroking his dick and kissing him and stuff. Things will eventually take course.

*fellow virgin*

He's just gone home today. Well he was up here to have a spy. Yesterday he told me that mam had asked him to come and check up on me, he also said that he was upset that I had never told him before and he thought we were supposed to be brothers. It was a long conversation, anyhow I told him that I felt betrayed when he told me mam, and he said he felt the same when he found out via facebook rather than me telling him. I explained why and that I was never certain, I wasn't sure if I could trust him to keep quiet from mam and dad. We've ironed a lot of things out, I came out properly to him and told him about Martin and stuff. He's promised to keep quiet, he even told me that if he does tell I can tell them his big secret lol.

So good stuff. And aye James is still acting like a bit of a twat, sulking all the time but I'm just ignoring him atm.

and what is his big secret?

and what is his big secret?
nowt that concerns you ;)

Anyway, stayed at Martin's last night and we had a talk about sexual stuff. He basically told me that if I'm not ready than he doesn't want to rush it or I could end up hating him and he doesn't want that. I'm unsure if I'm ready or not, how do you know?? I want to do it.

You'll know. It will just happen naturally if you let it! Don't worry so much about it and just relax with him. When your ready it will just happen! Good Luck!

I just finished reading the whole thread. Almost, I am very happy for you. Taking things slow sounds like a way to go. :) Good luck!

Hi lads,

Still going strong with Martin, we've got a lot closer the last week or so :D

James has got a new girlfriend, so he's being less of a tit at the mo. She's a bit of a slag but makes him happy lol.

Bahaha that's classic

This has to be one of the most interesting threads I've ever read. Certainly beats the homework I'm putting off doing right now

I'm glad to hear that things are looking up for you :D

Easter break at uni so I'm back home for a few weeks which is a bit annoying. Martin actually doesn't live far from me (bout 20 mins drive) but he's not out either away from uni life so not sure how much I'll see of him for next few weeks. Hate staying at home atm. James has been ok for a while which I'm happy about, hopefully it can get back to normal.

Thanks for the update. Good to hear that everything is still going well for you, other than the week separation from Martin. Enjoy your family and the week will be over before you know it.

It's a 4 week break  lol, but probs going back after 3.

The longest break I ever had in the Spring was a week and a couple of days, depending on when I finished finals. Four weeks is pretty long. No wonder why being apart from Martin is hitting you so hard.

You guys live pretty close together. There is no reason why you can't get together with a college friend a few times during break. Nobody would have to know he is your boyfriend. College friends get together all the time on break and that wouldn't set off any alarm bells.
