Tonight's episode - "the dumber they are, the harder they fall." Yes, Kat was relatively young. But she acted, played like she was 10 instead of 22.

I can't even lie, I love family visit episodes because they feature every player as a real person for a little bit.

And on top of that, the post-family visit stuff was delicious with everyone secretly hating everyone else. "Alicia thinks she's well-liked but delusional about it." Ouch, Kim.

Oh and I CANNOT believe Christina is still there. I know she can't win because her story is such an after-thought to the editors, but it'd be hilarious to see her get washed along with the tide all the way to third place because everyone keeps forgetting about her. Although I'd guess that we're looking at 1 - Kim, 2 - Chelsea, 3 - Alicia, 4 - Sabrina, 5/6 - Tarzan/Christina.

I couldn't understand why Kim wouldn't want Kat out initially since Kat has performed well in the past two challenges and that makes her a bigger immunity threat than Sabrina. With Kat gone she pretty much only has to beat Chelsea each time for immunity. I like those odds.

Unless the guys really revolt and give it to Tarzan (with Kat bitterly voting against the other two girls), I don't see how Kim can't win this. That scenario isn't as unlikely as it sounds either, so if I were Kim I'd get Tarzan out next and then Sabrina, and then flip a coin to see whether Alicia or Christina gets to be the F3 Jury Pinata.

I'm still confused by the um...technology of Alicia's bikini.

I wouldn't write off Tarzan. I could definitely see the majority male jury rallying for him. And while his game has not been perfect, it hasn't been all that bad. Not saying he is most deserving, but I am not sure that the guys will view Kim as the most deserving, when her main strategy was to get them all out first.

But I think Kim and the rest will finally see this and try to prevent Tarzan from being in the final three. Given his overall track record in immunity challenges, his chances aren't so good.

i think kim is one of the few players to realize that you need to take weaker people with you to the end, alot of people are just loyal and go along with thier alliance, and woudl have voted otu tarzan and christina a long time ago, but kim keeps them around, because she knows she can beat them in challenges, and in the jury.

kat was weird for me, i kind of liked her, but this episode i didnt. you can pick ppl on a reward cause you wanna get drunk and have fun lol, the game is on 24/7. also i think the age thing is so over done, i am 20 (will be 21 in october) and i act more mature than her, and i dont blame anythign on my age, i think she uses it so she never has to take the blame for anything.

It's no surprise that Kat didn't see it coming and is reacting like a child to her elimination, but in her Ponderosa video she's most upset with Kim which...I guess that means it won't be a clean sweep of the votes for the best player this season. Chelsea/Alicia/Sabrina may actually get one vote.

If it's a Kim/Chelsea/Alicia F3, which is my prediction right now, I think it'll come down to exactly that - Kim getting the pro-Kim votes with Chelsea picking up the anti-Kim ones and Alicia being the token third placer with zero votes.

Looking back it's kind of amazing that AMANDA of all people was the only third placer in a F3 to get a vote.

I didn't realize the finale was next Sunday already. Was thinking there was another week after that. Should be a good last couple episodes to see the girls turn against each other. Meow.

The recap show, the second half of the reunion show, the Sprint Player of the Week segments, Jeff Probst hanging out of a helicopter, and the March of the Fallen Survivors are all tied for my LEAST favorite parts of any Survivor season.

I don't mind the recap so much. Especially now that the main show is wall-to-wall strategizing, the recap does provide the character moments that I used to love getting from the earlier seasons.

By the way, I saw an article in the LA Times about the Reality categories at the Emmys (The Amazing Race has only lost one time for Best Reality Competition Series btw, and Jeff Probst is undefeated in the Host category which is both understandable and...ugh).

Anyway, they were listing all the shows that are eligible for Reality/Competition and I just got a kick out of seeing Big Brother in there. Cuz you know that lovably retarded show must come in dead last every year in the voting for the nominees in that category like no other fucking show has ever come in last in any category in any year in Emmy history.

Phil and Chenbot are both so much better as hosts than Jeff, ugh.

I actually watched TAR this season because of Queen Rachel Reilly and I was surprised by how personable Phil was to the contestants. Even in the finale he really complimented a female player because she got through a challenge that required her to run on her twisted ankle. I basically cringe anytime Jeff talks to or about a woman ever because there's pretty much always that air of "You don't possess a Y chromosome and therefore you are not worth my time~"

I have to admit I've never gotten the appeal of The Amazing Race. I've tried to watch it and it puts me to sleep. As for the Chenbot, I agree with you, but nothing will ever be nominated from a show where grown idiots in swimsuits hang on to giant hot dog wieners as part of "an intense power struggle" competition.

Big Brother is like Becky Jackson from Glee: lovably retarded.
