Survivor 31: Cambodia (Second Chance)

I especially roll my eyes at the Facebook/Twitter casual mentality that Kelly was a boring personality and "didn't do anything" because she got a bad edit, as if these people have never seen Borneo where she was the main focus of the second-half of the season. We could have seen either of these secret scenes on the show but both were axed in favor of more alpha male/Spencer being a robot bullshit.

And then last night we're supposed to believe Kelly was voted out because she was too much of a likable social threat. Gee thanks, editors, I couldn't tell what with her not existing on your show or anything.

The rain and water and Joe and Jeremy wrestling in the water was the most erotic thing I have seen on Survivor. Plus the 4 women wrestling and Tosha being a stud.

Really good two hours for me and I hope you enjoyed it as well.

Actually 2 great evictions and lots of misery.

Those were two very odd episodes.

That steal a vote secret advantage seems more like a curse. Since you have to announce and play it before the votes are cast, it just made Fishback a bigger target. It made everyone realize they could easily void the secret advantage and take him out instantly.

The dummies that opted out of the first immunity challenge practically handed the immunity idol back Joe. He is the one they wanted out most, but made it so easy for him to win with only one remaining challenger. It seems like nobody wants to win the million dollar and just give it Joe. Especially when they followup and vote out Fishback instead of Joe when they easily had the chance.

Gotta love how Kelley's second idol is sitting right under the shelter and requires her to get everyone else the hell away from the camp (and still leaves her in a super vulnerable scenario because she had to get under the shelter foundation and untie the idol), but Jeremy's second idol is sitting out in the woods with a backlight and a giant neon sign that says "TAKE ME!"

You noticed that, too?

This was a great, perhaps, flipping of the game.

Rather than getting a prevailing Stephen, who was too loose-lipped with explaining some of his decisions (like with Tasha), a battle of the wills came between Jeremy and Spencer.

Jeremy won Round #01, at the first Tribal Council, by surprising and preventing Spencer and others from successfully voting out Stephen.

But, I think Spencer won the war, over Jeremy, thanks that very vote—plus Stephen's over-playing and Jeremy's betting on Stephen, because it ended up having alerted Spencer to what the End Game would look like if he actually continued with Stephen and Jeremy.

Two great scenes: Spencer saying, after returning from the first Tribal Council, he was confident he was being lied to by both Stephen and Jeremy; and, in what was somewhat reminiscent of Survivor: Marquesas (Spring 2002), the reveal of the Intended Final Four of Stephen, Jeremy, Tasha, and Kimmi.

Spencer, Kelley, Abi, Joe, and Keith uniting was exactly what they needed to do. (It appeared that all of them, except Abi, caught on quickly.)

i never thought i would like ABI MAria but she is givng me life LOL

She is soo funny

Her paranoia this last episode was hilarious LOL

Abi Maria needs to be on EVERY SEASON just to fuck with the votes and make it more suspenseful and to give us those awesome soundbites. Loved last week when Stephen was complaining and she goes, "Get over it" with zero compassion LOL. You were right about her slip. I didn't like Abi at first, but now I think she's hilarious.

I was beginning to think Stephen might win with all the edits he has had wanting to get out Joe, and I thought he might have accomplished that with Joe losing immunity, but the day grew brighter and Stephen didn't . Sorry Jeremy that you lost one of your idols but you used it on the wrong person and you have been exposed.

If there are gifs of Joe and Jeremy wrestling in the rain and water please post them.

Not me. I dislike both women so intensely I might have choked if either won.

if i rewatched their season, they were both BULLIES and i dont like em but i choose to believe people grow up and change and are aware of how they acted and are trying to make a change.

I think Kass tried to change and abi also mentioned she was trying.

I am just enjoying ABI at the moment, i think i should clarify, i dont particularly like or love her, just enjoying her around thats all.

If she changes to a much morre sensitive and kinder person but still craxy, i can see my self loving her LOL

Abi and Kass DEFINITELY should've wanted to go to a F2 with each other since they're both hated by other cast members and could reasonably only win against each other (yet another reason I hate the F3 format because they'd obviously both be zero-vote goats to whoever else was there was them). It would've been a fascinating F2 to watch also. I could see the gamebots grudgingly voting for Kass because she's clearly more intelligent and could articulate a better F2 speech, while Abi picks up votes from people she actually made connections with (like Kelly/Ciera). Tasha's vote would've been interesting in that scenario.

I think Joe is next to go.

LOVED how Spencer defeated Joe, I hope he'll win a lot more challenges and become THE SOLE SURVIVOR of Cambodia Second Chance Season 31!

The November 25, 2015 two-hour episodes—titled "Like Selling Your Soul to the Devil" and "My Wheels Are Spinning"—may be our answer to who will be winning Survivor: Cambodia—Second Chance.

That winner may be…Spencer.

The two-part episode, resulting in the vote-outs of Ciera and then Stephen, struck me as one highlighted by a battle of wills starring two leaders with two separate paths to getting to the end of the game.

Jeremy wanted Stephen in the finals with him. Spencer, observing enough about Stephen, saw the need to eliminate Stephen for the sake of Spencer's game—which, for a time with Jeremy, might have seemed good as well for Jeremy (the false impression that Jeremy was willing to mislead Spencer into believing; perhaps it is accurate to say that Jeremy did do that for a while).

Spencer, having recognized prior to the first-part's Tribal Council, knew that Jeremy was adamant about eliminating Ciera. But, Spencer stood his ground by actually voting to eliminate Stephen.

At Tribal Council, we saw a result of six votes cast against Stephen: Spencer, Kellie, Abi-Maria, Joe, Keith, and Tasha. The other three (which includes Kimmi)—who flipped on their original Bayon tribe mate Monica weeks ago to spare Ta Keo originals Kelly and Spencer—cast their votes against Ciera and, clearly not willing to let go of Stephen, Jeremy revealed slightly his intention of retaining an end-game alliance with Stephen when he presented his hidden idol to host Jeff Probst on behalf of saving Stephen. (At the beginning of the second part, Spencer knew Jeremy's explanation was a lie.)

The undeniable truth came to light after Stephen, having won the Reward Challenge, actually explained why he was taking Tasha with him. (She's in his alliance. She voted against him, rather than against Ciera, and wanted her on the reward with him—so that Stephen could shore up any alliance weaknesses with Tasha. He actually said it!) And then, because he was allowed to take a third person on the reward, Stephen selected Jeremy. Shown having reacted to this, in addition to Spencer, were Bayon originals Keith and Joe (who was targeted, as some obsession, by Stephen while others didn't want Joe winning more immunities). And, with Kelley not needing any time to process the score (while Abi-Maria does), they realized the Final Four intention of Jeremy, Kimmy, Stephen, and Tasha. If Spencer, Kelley, Abi-Maria, Keith, and Joe were also interested in getting to the end, they had to counter that four-person group with their five. They had to unite.

The battle of the wills was won by Spencer when, not only with corralling the necessary votes, both Jeremy and Stephen came to him to explain how they were going to handle the upcoming Tribal Council vote: that Stephen would play his advantage—allowing him to void another player's vote (which would be Joe's vote) and Stephen would get to cast a second vote at the same time—and that they were going to split their votes equally between Abi-Maria and Joe. They wanted Spencer to vote against Joe so that three votes each would go against Abi-Maria and Joe. At Tribal Council, Jeremy and Stephen, with one of his votes, voted against Joe while Tasha and Kimmy voted against Abi-Maria (as did a votes-splitting Stephen). Spencer, Kelley, Abi-Maria, and Keith sent their collective four votes and knocked out Stephen.

Now that we know that the Spencer Group has wrested control from the Jeremy Group, I think we're going to be seeing Spencer, Kelley, Abi-Maria, Keith, and Joe send Jeremy, Kimmy, and Tasha out between 6th and 8th place. The hidden idol in Jeremy's position may delay his elimination slot by one; or, if he can mount an immunity run, he could move an additional notch further. While Jeremy is still there, who should also most definitely remain is Joe.

I think, if we're getting a Final Three, this is going to be between these United Five: Abi-Maria, Joe, Kelley, Keith, and Spencer. And, even though I am impressed most with Kelley—especially her magnificent hidden immunity idol surprise in the November 11 episode (which eliminated Andrew with three votes to her voided nine)—throughout this Survivor, it's very feasible for the winner of Survivor: Cambodia to end up becoming Spencer. But, hey, wouldn't it be cool if Joe—so dismissed by Survivor Geeks for not being a mastermind strategist (but just merely a Challenge Beast)—were to come out on top and win this game?!

Picture This:

1. Spencer
2. Kellie
3. Abi-Maria
4. Keith
5. Joe or Jeremy
6. Jeremy or Joe
7. Jeremy or Kimmi
8. Jeremy or Tasha

Spencer-for-the-win votes would likely come from Andrew, Kelly, Stephen, as well (alphabetically by first name): Jeremy, Kimmi, and Tasha.

That winner may be…Spencer.

I'll just let my friends react to that potential outcome for me:
