That intro you're adding into every thread is unnecessary, distracting and probably alienating your readers. I know you're going to argue why it isn't, I was just saying so you can't say no one told you.

Anywho, what's with this question, is it 1994? A resounding hell no! It's 2018 gay people are on tv, at the Grammys, the sciences https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...s-this-guy-even-real/articleshow/62630415.cms all over the place. And being a gay American really helps to keep things in perspective, considering how less fairly our cousins overseas are fairing at the moment. Then again self-acceptance has never been a huge issue for me. I don't see any point in crying about something you can't change. (pretend I posted a beautiful image of the serenity prayer in fancy font with a soothing HD background like a waterfall or a cave or some shit).

That only makes me more sad.

That my gay brethren who are around my age in Africa and Jamaica are sadly are killed for being gay. As I'm typing this message, mind you.

It's just not fair.

But these guys are consenting to the programs.

I'm not saying it's okay to do it to minors, I think it's even illegal.

But with grown men, that's their choice.

Also what would "no longer be gay" be? Straight? A mindless zombie? Bi?

If I could take a pill and it got rid of *all attractions* (ie: gay/bi/straight) basically makeing me 100% a-sexual, and 100% a-romantic (and no side effects) .. then fuck yeah, I'd take it.

I've never had any strong enough crushes that its been a problem.

Little/minor crushes just fade away with time (not even all that long really)

The only claims that these therapies work come from the people who run the programs. All impartial studies into the programs show they don't work. The third party researchers find that the person's sexual orientation does not change but they just suppress it. Pretty much all the claimed successes come from Bisexuals who simply decide not to seek same sex partners or gays who decide to be celebate. This is because these therapies simply cannot change what is a basic aspect of the personality. The worst outcome is the gay men who so want it to work they get into a unfullfilling marriage.

But what if these guys really feel alone being gay? Why are you not more neutral about it in that aspect? I mean, this is sadly a common occurrence I'm noticing.
