The expanding Israel-Hamas war

Gosh, so much Jew hatred from the usual suspects here. You disguise it as TDS, but anyone can see it.

Since this is THE gay forum…you can see dicks without asking, let me just say, Jewish people are hot. I actually fucked one once (or thrice).
Said on the page with significant criticism of Arab-Americans for their part in this mess...

Peter Beinart, an orthodox Jew, has one of the best explanations of where a lot of us are, and why none of us- for as long as we still have free speech rights in America- should fall for the argument that criticism of the actions of the government of Israel is the same thing as anti-Semitism.

Thanks for the link and the gentlemanly desire for discussion.

I don’t equate criticism of the Israeli government with antisemitism.

But I do consider the keffiyeh a terrorist neckerchief.

And we know that, after October 7, 2023, there is no difference between Hamas and so-called Palestinians.

I am just struck with the Jew hatred on this thread.

Perhaps you don't make that equivalency but in other quarters, it has hindered a frank discussion about a level of war atrocities that we haven't seen since the Russians in Syria.

Um, a keffiyeh (hattah) is a head covering. Having survived a sandstorm in Arizona, I understand the practicality of wearing one. Jews used to wear it because sandstorms are ecumenical. That changed around 1947 for some reason. 🤷‍♂️ Now you see kippahs flying in the wind unless there's a whole lotta hairpins holding it down.

Only hipsters in the US and UK wear a keffiyeh on their neck. They're also fashionable with the gay boys in London. It's the gay equivalent of Burberry.

And we know that, after October 7, 2023, there is no difference between Hamas and so-called Palestinians.
Just like after 20-Jan-2025, there's no difference between MAGA and Americans?

If you want to point fingers, point them at religious fundamentalists- in Palestine, in Israel and in Iran. The people of the middle east have spent millennia finding reasons to hate each other. They finally settled on religion as righteous justification for their battles over land, water and food. No one deserves a pass.

I am just struck with the Jew hatred on this thread.
You would have cite specific examples.

As Beinart expressed so eloquently, when the victims of historical pogroms and a Holocaust become the perpetrators and murderers of women and children in the name of a "Jewish State", they've lost the moral high ground they gained after WWII.

Other than America, they have few friends. And Americans are losing patience with their nonsense and the amount of money and munitions we have sent, only to see American treasure used to kill civilians, often with intention.

What total bullshit hypocrisy.

So because some Jews are hot, and you actually fucked one once....now you are confusing anger about Zionist genocide being confused with anit-semitism?

I understand why you post so rarely under this nom de guerre in this forum if hotness is how your political moral values are determined.

Seriously. That's not really an expression of solidarity.

So how many here condemn Hamas as a terroristic and genocidal organization?

If you don’t, you’re a Jew hater.

GTFOY.

Hamas doesn't represent all Palestinians any more than the war criminal Netanyahu represents the Jewish people in Israel or around the globe.

That is a calumny.

And frankly, after decades of Israel being allowed to openly steal Palestinian homeland with gross impunity, who blames a population with nothing to lose from fighting back against their exterminator?

If the Jews had fought back harder and stronger against their exterminators in Europe and rrrZZZia in the 19th and 20th centuries, this whole bullshit theft of the Middle East wouldn't have been necessary.

How do we know that?

I take the word of the son of the founder of Hamas, Mosab Hassan Yousef.

So no one here condemns Hamas?

I agree with Dr. Phil that there is no justification for the atrocity committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023. It was wrong by any measure or consideration. I think Zaynab and Salma (from the video) should have unflinchingly agreed with that fact, rather than attempting to qualify their response when asked to affirm that fact.

At the same time, it is my opinion that being pro-Palestine does not constitute participation in the crime committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023 as Mosab Hassan Yousef suggested.

For what it's worth, I do not regard Hamas as a tribe. It is a militant Palestinian nationalist and Islamist movement that constitutes only a portion of the population of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

I would like to learn more about the statistics Mosab Hassan Yousef mentioned during his appearance on Dr. Phil, which ostensibly prove that a majority of the Palestinian people support Hamas. It would be helpful to understand what he means by the term "support."

For reference, I've included a link to the full episode to which your post linked.

Yeah because he would be the recognized spokesman for all Palestinians.

Only a bigot would assume that all people in Gaza, half of whom are/(were) children, are "radical Islamicists."

And yes, it is pretty clear that the terrorist acts of Hamas merit everyone's condemnation.

But equally, will you condemn the terrorist acts of Israel and their theft of Palestinian territory for over a century?

Oh and while you're at it...will you outright condemn Putin and Iran for helping to spur the October '23 Hamas attack and for providing all the financial and logistical support for them all these years? And specifically for this terrorist attack? Not because they care about the Palestinians but because they want to use them as pawns in their larger war game strategy?

The post that you link to may or may not be of merit, I will never know, because there is no way I am going to follow it to a site that makes money for the execrable Mr Musk.

While you have to have a little sympathy for Palestinians who are effectively stateless, Hamas' methods for trying to eradicate Israel and the Jews is indefensible. And, as the above states, they were the ones who started the current atrocities and who, by all accounts, are committing the very worst of abuses of both their own and Israel's populations.
Unfortunately all Palestinians are being tarred with the same brush as Hamas. The terrorists are a tiny proportion of the population but, because the majority are either too frightened or secretly sympathetic, they allow the cancerous minority to rule.
Until Hamas is completely eradicated there will never be any kind of peace in the region.

Which is why the Jordanians and the Egyptians are never going to risk allowing Gazans to be resettled in their countries.
