The Democrat leadership has failed the nation over and over again by holding back and worrying about norms and propriety when the dark powers behind the GOP have openly tearing down the walls and making their intentions clear. Dems have this naive, almost child-like notion that the Constitution will prevail...that there are sufficient guardrails in place and that has been bolstered and buttressed by the fact that Trump was not successful in 2021 in a coup d'etat.

They are relyuing totally on the utter incompetence of TrumpCo. to make anything stick.

And yet some of his appointees like Louis deJoy remain in place, still setting the stage for the sell-out of the US Postal service to oligarchs like Bezohims and. of course, ignoring that hundreds of Trump Judges, as well as his Supreme Court are so fucking smart that they can deconstruct the Consitution to enable TrumpCo. at almost every turn.

For the next 2 years, I worry as much about the Trump whisperers as him.

This Cabinet referred to him as "a moron" 8 years ago when he was 70 years old and he was suggesting that Californians should rake their forests to stop fires. Trump still going on about the water in British Columbia not being diverted to California as a factor in the LA fire.

I would love to know who planted this weird brain worm....but it started back last summer and he is fixated on the protection of the smelt as the reason we don't want an entire watershed to be diverted to a region ravaged by climate change.

No matter how many times he talk about this huge faucet that we should be turning on...it doesn't exist. not even on paper.

The Columbia River is likely what he's referring to but there is no infrastructure to pipe it to California and it begs the question of what is happening to the water from the American mountain ranges in Washington and Oregon.
