I'm a bit worried, actually. I come here every day just to read the updates in this thread and it's strange not to see LostVegas not post anything new or the responses to his posts for that matter.

O.k I have read through this thread and found it somewhat intresting. A few questions though. Are people really sending him money? It was also revieled that he was underage, so do you think that his statements are true, or could this all be some sort of elaborate scam? Now i am just asking so don't jump on me for posing the questions.

Yes people are contributing to the "Send Bri to Vegas" fund.

I don't believe he is underage. 1) He discusses his graduate work and 2) the admins haven't banned him.

Well, if it's a scam it's the most subtle scam ever, cuz he never asked us for money, we just grew to care about Brian over time as we watched him open up and grow. And yes, I believe Frodo must have been talking about lil_c, who says hi, BTW. Brian, if you happen by this thread, hope everythings cool with you bro!

It was a SUGGESTION

How DARE you call it a scam. Nobody had to do anything and the people that did, wanted to, so I think you just need shut your mouth right there.

In fact, I am going to ask Kulindahr to send all the money back if this is what you all think it is.

Look -- I said at one point I had twenty bucks if it would help Brian get to Vegas -- it wasn't Brian's idea.
Then Strangelittleboy suggested a paypal account, but people have asked for my address and there's some bucks sitting right by my computer that have come in the mail, and more promised. No one tricked them into it; it was freely given to help a guy we've come to care about (well, two guys).

So, Frodo, it's not a scam... but strangelittle, take it easy!

And BTW, the suggestion was made to me that if Brian doesn't want it, I donate it to a local charity, like the homeless or something. I was thinking homeless and also the Cascade AIDS Project, which provides free testing, counseling, and other stuff.

Anyway....

Brian, come back to us!

I WAS TRYING TO COME UP WITH A WAY FOR HIM TO GO SEE HIS FRIEND AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA, BUT IF PEOPLE ARE JUST GOING TO ASSUME THAT KULINDAHR AND I ARE SPLITTING THE MONEY FOR OURSELVES AND SCAMMING EVERYONE, I THINK EVERYONE WHO THINKS THAT CAN JUST GO TO HELL.

IT WAS VOLUNTARY - IT WAS A SUGGESTION MADE BY ME THAT WE SOMEHOW HELP BRIAN - WE ARE NOT FORCING PEOPLE TO SEND MONEY AND WE ARE NOT COLLECTING ANY OF IT.

OH PLEASE! CGHJ was saying "IF" it was a scam, it was a brilliant one, cause Brian didn't even ask for the money. He was being sort of sarcastic, he is not saying that it is one.

Now just let it go or Brian is really never going to come back.

Frodo is "new" to this thread, and I can understand why the thought of a scam might have entered his head. But ... he also said he was just asking, and to please not jump on him for it.

I'd only be able to pull a scam that subtle if I was in charge of the Orbital Mind-Control Lasers. But I wouldn't waste those on little scams; I'd be happily making all the cute boys in North America gay and madly in love with me. :badgrin:

At least until I found one who was as good a friend as Brian is to Andy, and wouldn't need the others any more. (*8*) :kiss:

Hey Strange, I'm sorry if you misunderstood me, but if you reread my post you'll see I only ever said it couldn't be a scam, as Brian never asked for anything from any of us. I totally trust Kulindahr with the money, that wasn't ever an issue. Not a single person ever insinuated anything about anyone, in fact I only ever thought how amazing it was that we all cared enough to help Bri get to LV. And that's all I'm thinking now...other than, I hope we're not freaking Brian out.

Strange, I apologize if my words weren't clear enough. Luckily I'm sure that everyone else caught my meaning.

What up guy, Im back with a long overdue update...let me set the record straight..I am in no way scamming people lol and even though I am touched by you guys getting some shillings together I am going to have to respectfully decline...Im amazed :eek: (though understandable in some way) that someone would think that I would have poured my soul out the way I did just to get a few hundred bucks, or whatever you guys had saved...

I am a working boy...and while I dont have the money right now..I will have it soon...,,

To the others thank you all for your support and concern..the reason I was out of this thread for a little while was because I invested so much and sort of just ran out of energy...I got tired of my ups and downs for a bit and decided to call it a break for a while...in hind sight I should have mentioned that and Im sorry...

The whole week my buddy been calling me left and right saying hes confused and he doesnt know what to do anymore and he feels like coming home and how Im the only one in this world who gets and understands him...all that good stuff...I have been positive all week and up and he has been down and I have been there for him..he needed more money..and I lent him some..he starts work Monday but already doesnt want to go and got into a fight with his mom and his girl bout it...

Basically thats it...one time during our talk I said I had to go..and he goes why..and I go before I say something that ill regret...he said tell me what you mean..I told him im not talking about anything bad...I just need to clear out my head and feelings.

I must admit I love the fact that he comes to me more now than ever...he said did you eat meat today(cuz we had to give it up for lent, etc) I said I have already sinned, I had Matts meat today..and we both laughed...anyway will update you guys soon...sorry If I pissed the masses off here..if there is anything I could do ;) to rectify(he he I said rectify) the situation at hand I will..I was going to post a day or two ago but didnt see the thread here...now I know why....sorry again..good to see you all...bri ..|
