Keeland has called Neil a couple of times, Sheep called him yesterday.

Neil has really appreciated the well wishes and calls.
 
Hi, Guys.

Sorry about the delay in updates about Neil - my schedule got a bit topsey-turvey and when I was on here, it was fairly late and brain dead!

Neil is doing well - so well, in fact, that the doctor, nurse, and physical therapist in charge of Neil's care passed on him going to the Extendacare tomorrow - in favour of him going home by this weekend!

He's still got a ways to go with his shoulder, but he's been doing exceptionally well with his therapy - he can get in and out of bed, bathe himself, just about everything - except use his right shoulder strenuously.
 
That's great news! He'll rest better and heal faster at home. Plus he'll be home for the holidays.

I could tell he was quite "chipper" from the get go on the phone tonight.

He mentioned being home for Christmas a few times.

Congrats Neil on an incredibly positive recovery! I know it will be a little rough, but hopefully they can send some Home Health for a little while to help with the small yet difficult stuff.

Great to be able to avoid Rehab for the Holidays! BE CAREFUL!
