1. I loved playing with my mom's hair.
2. My parents had a couple who were their friends. I went to their house on purpose to play with their daughters. They had barbies.
3. Whenever I went to visit my girl cousins, I always played with their dolls more than they did.
4. I had a shameful amount of Polly Pockets growing up. Now they're hidden away in a box. Thank god xD
5. Early fascination with musicals.
6. Liked walking in my mother's shoes. Only took a couple of desperate glances from my father to realize how wrong that seemed to be.
7. All my close friends until I was 10 were all girls.
8. Barbra Streisand. A lot of Barbra Streisand. To this day, Barbra Streisand.
9. I played with my bath towel. I took turns pretending it was a dress and pretending it was long hair.
10. I watched the most girly cartoons of Girldom.
11. I pretended I was a fairy. I used pencils as wands.
12. Fascination with Disney princesses.
And I still had to come out to my parents, who were present in ALL of this. And my mom still had the nerve to tell me that she felt like she was being punished. Yeah, punished for not having eyes on her face -.-' (Things are better now xD)
I guess that as I grew up and started realizing I liked boys (even though I didn't realize that "liking boys" had a name), I little by little stopped feeling the need to do most of those things. Except for Barbra Streisand and the musicals.
