I can only agree with to a certain extent.Yes I do agree that both gays, and women, especially black women have their disadvantages. But there is one thing that separates gay men, and women, and that's, Visualization. People, and society can see the fact, that I AM A WOMAN, AND I AM BLACK. People may already have set their mind on what they think about me without me even opening up my mouth, or do anything. You on the other hand, may not have to face discrimination, and it's because people do not you are gay,unless you open up your mouth, and tell them so. They cannot see your gayness, like they can see my blackness, and my femaleness.

I often marvel at how strong the sexual bond must be between hetrosexual couples, to allow it to overrule the basic incompatibility of men and women.

As of manipulative men... they usually fail at using me. I notice when someone tries to make me believe that he wants me to feel better about myself by making me do something that he would like. Well think about it? Women are told that we are desirable, and that we should always primed ourselves to be that way. Now maybe that woman was different story, but I know I would be mad as hell if I found out the guy I am dating, is formerly gay,half gay,or is just a gay man that have sex with women. If there are gender differences, they are probably expressed as tendencies in a group of people rather than absolutes that can be known based entirely on someone's gender.

And so, if there are trends, there are likely things men tend to do better, and likely things women tend to do better.

The joy of being gay is the likelihood of having your own strengths matched by your partner. An easier time grasping each other's mindset and priorities. And if you prefer the masculine aesthetic of hard lines over soft curves, it's fun to see that in each other. The freedom to be male without having to bow to society's expectations or women's expectations about what masculinity is supposed to be. (though I am always amazed at how many gay men decline to exercise that freedom).

But mostly I think an individual's own traits take precedence.
