  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Attention What are you having for dinner?

Got home early from work and made quesadillas, filled with mozzarella & cheddar, bacon pieces, scallions, and fresh cilantro. Dipped wedges in sour cream with cilantro chopped and mixed in. Really hit the spot.

I have four chicken thighs in the oven. I sprinkled on some Adkins BBQ powder and some McCormick jerk chicken stuff. And black pepper. Into the oven on a cake rack on a cookie sheet at 275-ish to let it get happy. Sort of on the edge of the grill....

I'm about to crank the heat to 350 to finish. Smells good.

I have a pot of water over the the oven's exhaust. Mac and Cheese coming up!

Tonight was ahi tuna with a mirin/tamari/porcini/truffle glaze, and some arborio rice with shallots.

Spaghetti and sauce enhanced with a scoop of Keystone canned ground beef.
It'll work. Better than nuking a TV dinner. I have ideas of what to cook for supper but my give a damn is real low..

Almost joined family at a local Chinese Food Buffet place. Instead I ended up with a Beef Taco Salad from a different place.

I've seen the Keystone canned ground beef in the store. But have not tried it. I probably should. I usually have some browned ground beef in the freezer for use in dishes. But it's usually a couple years old before I get around to using it. It sure would be easier to open a can.
