Attention What are you having for dinner?

A clearance find: a box of macaroni and cheese, made with pasta made of chickpeas and vegan cheese. A salad. And a piece of clearance cake that was rainbow themed. Perhaps a chance for me to participate in Pride? Even though part of me increasingly wonders if I'm welcome in the gay community?

Oh, yes... I'm now having a glass of what Sideways would call "fucking Merlot."

Who knows? Maybe the mold will add extra nutrition.
There is actually pizza down there, but from Costco, so just as bad.

I had a split croissant topped with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, green chili, scallions, and bacon pieces atop. Was very satisfying. About to go fetch the ice cream and cover with mascerated strawberries I cut up last night and some chocolate syrup. Hope you're having good eats, too.

I picked up yet another Rotisserie chicken. Made some quick potato salad to go with it along with some steamed brussels sprouts.

Our bean soup... Rich in bacon and flatulence.

Better out than in.

Can you kindly do something about your avatar's hair?

Absolutely. I don't like his hair either. The actor had a silly role on that drug commercial, but his Instagram account showed him to be a pretty nice guy.

I'll gen up something better. His side-eyes have served their purpose.

Last night was a bit of this and a bit of that. Including the last of my box of blueberries. Fortunately, there is a new box blueberries to take its place.

I am hoping the current supply of on-sale blueberries is still good on Monday so I can get one more box. But that could be iffy--I've noticed in this brave new era of high prices and questionable availability that the supply of items on sale often runs out the last day or so the weekly sale cycle. Although, at least, we are at the time of year when berries go on sale regularly. Or we should be. I suppose these days, all bets are off.

Keeping the "sale" and "blueberry" theme... I also had a single serving blueberry pie, which came off the day old bakery rack.

^I understand that weekdays are busy. But couldn't this woman have at least tried to make some effort, rather than doing that slapdash recipe?

Chili beans...again. This time, I splurged on the Bush brand. I ate the beans while drinking a can of Busch. It interested me that dinner featured two bushes, albeit with different spellings.

Homemade tortellini in Brodo.

Although the broth is a bit of a cheat.

Found a small piece of steak in the back of the freezer so I made a steak sandwich.

Today was making a marina sauce with sweet sausages, meatballs and stew meat. I meant to buy fresh spaghetti, but forgot to pick it up when I was at the supermarket. I went with elbows that were in the cabinet.

What do you mean by "fresh spaghetti?" Where do you buy that...like at a deli??

Grilled a tri-tip with parsley red potatoes and a tossed salad.

Last night's dinner involved a can of soup. Chosen because it was a cool, slightly rainy day. I wonder/hope that it might be the last can of soup I see until October.
