Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership This Season?

So will Boro' follow ManUtd's example and put their admission charges up to pay for the Woodgate signing? See:

I guess someone has to pay for Fergie's chewing gum.;)

Apparently we're freezing our tickets this year, which is good. I hate it when tickets go up for football matches, they're overpriced as it is.

Haha how much Chewing gum does that man have? ;) Actually, I've never seen him take a bit out or put some in, has it been the same gum for the past 20 years? *shock*

Interesting to see that Sky are showing both Chelsea v Bolton and Everton v ManUtd simultaneously tomorrow at 12.45. Should be an exciting watch.:D

I would like both Chelsea and ManUtd to win, as that would help Spurs in their quest for European football next season.

The match of the day for some of us will kick off later at the Riverside.;) My prediction is that the best team will win...|

The bookies can't call this one apparently. Supposedly, the odds match up for each score, no matter who is on the receiving end.

Can't see Chelsea closing a 5 point gap with ManUtd.

Fergie seems to think the Premiership has been won, as he said he will kiss Big Sam Allardyce not once but twice.

Bolt on whatever protection you have; it will be needed.:help:

At the Riverside, Spurs keep their European hopes alive...|

I'd pay good money to see that! :D

Ah well, at least we played alright in the second half. I wanna know what's happened to Yakubu though, he just doesn't score anymore.

Mind you, he did this last season too, started brilliantly and petered out... d'you reckon he can't deal with the full length of the season? Hmm...

Well Spurs won something this season.:=D:

Darren Baldwin has won "Groundsman Of The Year" for his pitch at WHL. Other contenders were Boro' and Arsenal.:=D:

Spurs should also be voted "The Most Entertaining Team of the Season". They have been wonderful to watch. For example, in the Premiership they have scored 52 goals. How many have they conceded? 52! Now that is value for money.:=D:

Thank goodness their points tally, so far, is much better: 53.;)

Big Sam Allardyce has resigned as the Bolton manager!

Has the thought of being kissed twice by Fergie unhinged Sam?

Or is Big Sam smacking his lips at the prospect of a very lucrative job at another Premiership club? The Big Man could wander across the City.;)

Well, Bolton'll be playing in Europe next year, Man City won't, so I don't think it's a wise decision by him.

OMG why the hell has he just done that, after how well hes done to get them into contention of a UEFA Cup place.

hmm, somethings not right there.

oh and wooooooo about the results hehehehe 5pts now! so if we beat Man City next week, and Chelsea beat Arsenal, then the gap will still be 5pts with 2 games to go, and Chelsea v Man utd the penultimate. so all we would need to do is draw and we would win the premiership back that day :D

Both games prior to that will be difficult, for us its a local derby away so anything can happen, and well Chelsea go away to the Emirates, which wont be easy.

we are well and truly into the business end of the season now, its the final month of the season and gettin very tense by the week hehe

ManCity v ManUtd on Saturday 05/05/07...

Arsenal v Chelsea on Sunday 06/05/07...

Charlton v Spurs 07/05/07...

They might think it's all over, but it ain't...;) ;) ;)

Chelsea's game at Arsenal tomorrow is crucial. If Chelsea lose, ManUtd will win the Premiership title. Even the bookies can't call this result.

And on Monday, Charlton have to get at least a point v Spurs to keep their Premiership survival dreams alive.

*blinks* Charlton have to win both games to win, I thought...

Boro scraped a win, and we're above Newcastle! :D:D:D:D:D
If we end up ahead of Rat Boy Roeder and the Skunks at the end of the season, I'll call it a success.

Well, the Gunners have had a dismal season, but a win over Chelski will cheer us all up no end.

Here's hoping...

Quite right J...| !oops!

Charlton need to win their last 2 games, and even that might not ensure their Premiership survival.

Now for a quick analysis of the bottom of the table:

15 Fulham............37.. -20.. 39
16 Sheff Utd.........37.. -22.. 38
17 West Ham.......37.. -25.. 38

18 Wigan.............37.. -23.. 35
19 Charlton..........36.. -24.. 33
20 Watford...........37.. -30.. 27

Watford are obviously down.
The other teams can escape, and charlton's game in hand means they can drag in fulham.

So, for fulham to go down, WHU, Sheff utd, and charlton must win all their remaining games, and Fulham must lose to Boro. Also, charlton must improve their goal difference by 5 across two victories. Unlikely to happen; WHU are against Man Utd, and Charton are against Tottenham and Liverpool.

If wigan beat Sheff Utd, by more than one goal, and Man Utd beat WHU, they would climb above both Sheff Utd and WHU on GD, which is probably going to be vital in this run in. If, in that eventuality, charlton win both games, then Sheff Utd and WHU will go down.

This is exciting, now Boro are safe! Despite how it looks, Wigan's fate is in their own hands; a better GD than west ham and a much easier game means they have more control over what happens than WHU do.

I want WHU and Charlton to go down; better pickings in the summer transfer window!

Chelsea are in trouble! 1-0 down to Arsenal... Can't say I'm surprised; I think Arsenal are a better team who simply had a bad season due to injuries.

Looking good for your Man Utd, Sam!

Arsenal 1 - 1 Chelsea. Man Utd are champions!

The actual question in this thread has finally been answered!
