i know we talked about this issue before but i think that one of the most annoying things in the gay community is the whole putting up white males on a damn platform as if they're the ultimate prize or some bullshit. we're supposed to praise these guys and call them beautiful simply because they're white? hell, i've seen some average to ugly guys all suddenly get this recognition because they're white. if they were black or asian, you wouldn't hear shit.

and while we're at it. i'm also tired of some of these white gay guys thinking that they're better than black gays, asian gays, indian gays, latin gays and etc because they're white. like really? who the fuck are you? for real.... i don't know where people get these ideas from where they have to find someway to boost themselves up for some minor characteristics of theirs such as skin color when in reality, they still ain't shit. do you know how many times i've seen on okcupid and adam4adam some losers pretty much think that he's automatically a catch or much more deserving to be a catch because he's white. :lol: some of these guys don't even have shit going for them and they're thinking to themselves like that. :lol: give me a break. you should be happy that anybody gives you the time of day because you're a dickhead. i don't care about what you put for what you do for a living, your face, or whatever else. your profile doesn't automatically make you shit.

it reminds me of that thread where a black poster not too long ago said that some white dude called him the n-word because he rejected him. like just because you're white doesn't automatically make you more likeable than anybody else. you still have to show that you're worth a shot. the same goes for dudes that think that because they have a pretty face that that exempts them from getting a personality assessment or means that they're datable.

i know a couple of you guys might get mad at what i said but i just have to get it off my chest. i treat people as people. whenever i see some bullshit, i just gotta call it out for what it is.

People dreaming about fantasy men; I bet most of the models at these stores are as dumb as plaster mannequins.

the post i put was just some shit that i had to get off my chest because it really started to irk me for a second.

i don't really give a fuck about these models. in fact, i feel bad for them. most of those dudes(in the abercombie and fitch greeters) are average looking at best and if they're good looking, i think they would be reduced to the same level as fleshlight toys when it came down to it. i most definitely wouldn't have any use for them besides fucking them. being good looking actually is a bad thing, it just makes you harder to be taken seriously as a person. it dehumanizes you. people look at you as a sex object or an object and not a person. i'll take an ugly person more seriously than a good looking person especially if that good looking person is using their looks to get over thinking that the person they're talking to is stupid. i would rather be ugly, feared and respected than have people call me handsome or attractive. i don't see how anybody could live with being considered eye candy and not what they do.
 
I hate Abercrombie's marketing. It's so superficial and trying so hard to be controversial. Plus all the women they use on their ads are usually thin, flat ass and flat chested plain Jane types.

All those male models look the same. As they were walking down the line, I was thinking "tool".."tool".."douche".."tool"....

I mean, do they really all have to have the same body type and look? There are a few exceptions (actually just one; the token black guy who actually had the best body out all of them) and I like their jeans but A&F is one of the most annoying stores ever created.
 
Teen clothing seller Abercrombie & Fitch Co. plans to close 180 U.S. stores over the next few years as it tries to improve its financial performance.

Abercrombie used to generate most of its sales in the U.S. but has shifted its focus to overseas markets such as Europe and Asia, where it is still growing.

The chain has already closed 135 underperforming U.S. stores over the past two years.

Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Ramsden told investors Wednesday at the Deutsche Bank Global Consumer Conference in Paris that the company will close 180 more "over the next few years," according to documents the company filed Thursday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The closures will primarily be among its namesake and kids brands but Ramsden said company, based in New Albany, Ohio, will close a few Hollister stores as well.

Abercrombie's revenue slid in 2008 and 2009 due to weakness in the U.S., which produced 90 percent of its sales at the time. Its sales grew again in 2010 and 2011 in part because it was expanding online and abroad.

By 2011, Abercrombie generated roughly 65 percent of its revenue from U.S. stores and 21 percent from international stores.

The company said its margins are still much lower in the U.S.

Its shares fell $1.28, nearly 4 percent, to close Thursday at $30.97, just above their 52-week low of $30.26. On Wednesday, the shares rose 15 cents to close at $32.27. They have traded as high as $78.25 over the past year.

well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. that's what happens when trends. abercombie and fitch will eventually become played out and another clothing line with take it's spot. that's life. i'll never wear their clothes though.

Whenever I'm at the mall, I love to stop by their store and check out the hot white, athletic jock guys who work there....

Oh, and when I buy something, they put it in a large tote bag that has a giant photo of a shirtless hot white guy... :D

I miss the old A&F Quarterly..........that stuff was practically softcore gay porn..... :lol:
 
I never liked AF so I'm not sad about it. I would be upset if H&M had same problems.

Its Ruehl division was the first to go...

Now the A&F stores are shrinking.....

Before you know it, they will be an online only retailer.....
 
One suggestion that might help them gain business. Have their models masturbate for you in the store for an added fee. I hear they're easy.

Meaning Guess will be the next to go... and i'm not mad about THAT either(because there was a pair of pants I would REALLY, REALLY rock right now... if they came in a bigger size than 29).

:rotflmao: for real???? they were really doing it like that in america out of all places? how many people you know have a size 30 waist? that's the waist line of a child. surprised me that they were around for that long though especially with their shirts and clothing. it was really bland and plain jane. i would rather wear ugly ass fubu and tommy hilfinger.
 
^not true. Check their website. I mean...I've never had that problem. But they make jeans for bigger people.
 
*adjustment* - I checked their size charts... men's jeans go up to 36W.

Jesus...that's like...10-11 inches bigger than what I wear....
