  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Who doesn't know Abercrombie & Fitch here?

Those guys are having abs-envy. Or busy jerking off.

Well, I don't really care if they think I am gay or not. If they are not comfortable with me, a guy, posing with an AandF model, they can stand further back and help me take the picture.

You shouldn't worry too much. It's just a picture. I might head down tmr.

Seriously, the AandF guys are not treated like humans no more.

Alas, I sometimes feel as though I was born forty years too late. Which clothing brands were popular amongst gay men forty years ago? Yves St. Laurent? Christian Dior? Thirty years ago, I'd imagine it was Calvin Klein and Armani. Twenty years ago, it was probably Versace. (I prefer early Versace couture.) Fifteen years ago, I suppose it was Ralph Lauren and in the past decade, Abercrombie & Fitch. It seems that most people in general aren't interested in most of those classic brands. Call me old-fashioned but I prefer the former over the latter.

..| Let's go shopping together one day.

Just Believe 18,

thanks for your comment. I was actually shy and didn't want to go.

But then I thought to myself, "This is a once in a lifetime golden opportunity. The hunks are going back on wednesday and I won't get to see them again. The store opens this thursday. So I decided to go.

The hunks smell very nice, the strong heavy smell of the A& F cologne....

Anyway, I was one of the very very few guys taking photos with the hunks...kinda embarrassed

The crowd is mostly filled with girls.....awkward for me

Hey, I can't believe you didn't slip an arm around each of those nearby waists! Opportunity of a lifetime, dude!

Even if the ones you were with aren't really my type, I would brushed me some skin!

Am I the only one who thinks that the models are just fine, not really that drop dead gorgeous? I am tempted to go but oh well, there's nothing interesting.

those guys are okay. nothing standoutish about them at all. by the way, fuck abercombie and fitch. they can suck my dick.

i agree with jay queer on them being on the exclusive tip with hiring white models to stand around in an asian country trying to promote their wack ass brand anyway. they couldn't find any hot asian guys to stand around. i know there's tons of asian guys that will make those average looking white dudes standing outside look like shit.

but abercombie and fitch is corny and always has been corny. never will wear that shit along with any of these corny scooby doo, white collar, trying way too hard to be down brands. they can keep pushing their white superiority bullshit. i'm not fucking with them regardless whether they start trying to cater to black people or not. they're just corny.

Okay, while I agree that they could easily have found local models of equal or higher attractiveness to do the work... if you think all those white guys are "average looking," what the hell do you call attractive? Seriously, these men are objectively attractive: they have straight teeth, they have symmetrical faces, they're muscular and toned. I don't know why people have to put one option down in order to promote another; yes, some local Asian guys would have been better, but those white guys are still hot.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that I find myself attracted to White guys so much. Or I may have been subconsciously primed & influenced by the media, advertising, Hollywood, and even gay porn to believe that White guys are more attractive than guys from other races. That's not right, and that's what I'm railing against.

Maybe maybe maybe. But nobody can believe that your "railing" is sincere when you declare the superiority of the white race in a sexual context - because that would not be right, either. But as others have said sexual attraction is not necessarily racism - but it can be closely tied to such. On the other hand, in advertising "sex sells" isn't a secret. So those white white white models are there because of people like you. And not because Abercrombie doesn't like Asians.

all i'm saying is that in the past two days, i've seen guys that make those dudes look like shit. these guys are average looking and some of them were kind of ugly. in other words, if those guys were able to get modeling gigs, i would most definitely would have a shot at getting one too. i don't think i'm good looking at all.

and i don't buy into the whole bullshit about straight teeth, symmetrical faces, muscular or toned, tall being the guidelines to detemine if someone's beautiful or model worthy. a cute face is a cute face, a hot bod is a hot bod, a hottie is a hottie. beauty is subjective anyway and on top of that, all that whole guideline shit modeling agencies use as well as people in general use only puts them at a disadvantage because they're only limiting themselves and their options. modeling agencies pretty much reject guys that are under 5'11, don't have certain facial features, don't have their bodies in a certain way and etc. now, my thing is if you see an attractive person that can make you millions promoting your brand, are you going to let money just walk away because they don't fit those stupid guidelines? i feel as if the modeling agencies, the media, and etc have actually brainwashed and forced people to accept these stupid premises of what beauty is. they pretty much are forcing the public to limit themselves in order for them (the modeling agencies, clothing lines, and etc) to stay in business. why can't people just have keep the tastes that they just like and call it a day? i don't think those guys are all that. who said i had to think they're cute because abercombie and fitch or a modeling agency gave them the time of day? who said i had to think you're cute because you're a model or you're ugly because you're not one? people buy into bullshit too much. depending on the person, anybody can be the ugliest or the hottest person in the world.

Wow, you work there so you must be pretty good looking cause I heard A&F only hire good looking employees.

Are their clothes very expensive?? I have a budget..... Do A &F sell other stuffs besides clothes.?? caps? belts? assessories?? watches? cologne? 2012 calendars?? Do they sell catalogues of their models???

If you know me personally, you'll find it difficult for me to accept any sort of compliment but thanks.

Depends what you define as expensive. I'd say they're in the upper-middle tier of price. They sell belts, bracelets, baseball caps, cologne (their fierce is their signature cologne) and sandals along with typical clothes/attire. Their sandals especially are amazing. Still have two pairs of them from when I worked there. As I said, the price justifies the quality unlike other stores (Gap and J. Crew notably). They started doing a catalog again but I don't fancy mannequins. I'm all about natural beauty.

What happened to Thore82? I know he wanted to go and be with the models but he didn't have to delete his account in process.

I agree -- most of those guys were just blah.

anything to get gay people to buy their clothes right? fuck abercombie and fitch. it was a sexy ad, i'm about to favorite it, might jerk off to it later and all but i still don't like that clothing company and its godawful clothes.

That was really hot, over and above the kiss. A&F has apparently given up on straight men buying their clothes altogether.

Well, that was thoroughly enjoyable.

To the point where I might start buying there clothes - wonder what that says about me.
