I'm a gay dude and though I know its true about a certain percentage of gay guys with glory holes I never put my dick in one, nor frequented places where they are on purpose.
Plenty of our straight brethren are bare-backing. Never a shortage of babies coming into the world as a mistake, casual hook ups, one niters, drunken/drugged out parties and in fact the rate of unmarried gals having babies is on the increase.

What I find more amusing than the "Oh come breed me" are the

Some guys really actually do think that orgies or gangbangs can't exist unless they are bareback. And that is not true. And I do sort of agree with the guy who said that during barebacks somtimes the one who is getting passed around (generally younger) has a higher chance of getting bred and getting the disease. Although I don't think the intention is to be maliciously infect them. I think the intention of the person is just to breed some ass.

It's different for those who are in relationships to bareback. Besides I always feel barebacking would be reserved for relationships. A fuck is a fuck. Now being in a relationship and having the experience I can agree that with a condom it doesn't feel as good. But they do have thinner condoms and it is safer. It just means that while it might not feel as good as it could it will feel better once the barebacking is earned. Or if it gets earned. Being in a relationship that is. But than again that DEFINITELY depends on the relationship.

People also forget that getting tested is important too. But I really hate that how a good friend of mine goes, "Oh but if a guy barebacks you than if he pulls out it's okay". He did not even know that oil based lubricants tear up condoms. He is so naive and I am so glad I was able to talk to him before he went and did something stupid. And with that.

I swear to God I can't believe that my sexual education was learned from talking to different guys online and than doing the research before I have sex. They want to deny sex to anyone until they are married but they know they will do the sex anyways and don't want to tell them how to be safe. Instead they think, "Well if they get infected it's their fault for having it"

And yes it amazes me that some people can't put on condoms. If you LUBE UP a condom properly and put it on right AND IT FITS THE GUY you're pretty much set.

But as Jasun said those who go want bareback sex are either assumed to be poz or poz friendly or just don't care and know what they are getting into. And of course there are bug chasers.

OMG I fucking hate that myth. Some 50-ish guy kept stalking me and kept wanting me to bareback but I told him flat out no and that any kind of bareback is unsafe. He said it's completely safe for the top.
