Well, sometimes there's pain when things come out too! And where did you get the idea that God doesn't want us to experience pain? We're stuck with it ever since that bitch Eve bit into the apple.
 
God (1) perfectly could have put it outside like he did with cock and balls. But why specifically and typically there? Moreover not too far. Just within easy finger reach. And the strangest thing of it all is the perineum at the outside is the herald of it. Sensations in the perineum are directly transmitted to the prostate. Perhaps if God HAD made Adam and Steve we would still be enjoying the garden of eden because stupid Eve wouldnt have screwed it up for us. Therefore we could view the positioning of the prostate as a "post-creation extra", an apology from God for having not quit whilst he was ahead and damning us to die!

If you are suggesting that we should have sex with women because our reproductive systems were designed soley to procreate I would argue that such a system could not have been created by a god. Think rationally man, if procreation was the only goal then things like menstruation and gestation are clearly not the most efficient solution. Instead if efficiency was key I think women would have been designed much in the way of a vending machine... you put in your 'money' press the button, out comes the baby, no fuss no muss... THINK OF HOW FAST YOU COULD PROCREATE WITH ONE OF THOSE!

Do we have such a system!!?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOO instead women go through varying degrees of fertility during a month, then have to wait 9 months and then before you know it BAM! menopause.

Clearly procreation cannot be the sole purpose of the reproductive system if it was designed, therefore if God throws us a little apology for his mistakes, you had better well use it!

Why does the creation still try to speak for the Creator? This thread began w/ a bit of humor (& stimulating thought), but began to worry about other ideas. I think the prostate gland evolved so that men could bond with each other instead of killing each other. Also, I think it helps for men to be able to have sex with each other when females are not available. In some species, only the alpha male gets to have sex with any of the females, and so what are the rest of the males supposed to do?

BTW, I tend to be more Buddhist in my thinking, and Buddhists reject the anthropomorphic god invented by Abraham. IMO Abraham got it wrong, and we have been suffering consequences of that mistake ever since. The ban on gay sex is a cultural phenomenon - not physical. In some native American religions, gay men who wish to live as women are treated as valuable members of society (see the movie Little Big Man, and straight male members of the tribe may have sex with them when their wives are unavailable.

If you can find a copy of The Pre-Columbian Mind by Francisco Guerra, you will be able to read about how prevalent sodomy was in the New World when the Spanish first came here. For many tribes, it was much less of a taboo.

BTW, i don't buy creationism at all. men and women have same number of ribs, women are not supposed to be "created" for men.
