I honestly don't know what to think about sex changes. You can't really turn a man into a woman entirely and vice versa. You are just cutting a few things here, altering a few things there and that's it... it's mostly a mental thing than anything else. What happened to just crossdressing?

But I mean starting treatment being 12 and then going for the surgery at 16... wow that is such a sensitive age for anyone to take such a life changing decision. He better not regret it...

I can't really waste my time arguing with you, specially when it seems you won't listen (or read) to what anyone has to say; I just have to say that you, as a gay person, should know what we have to go through to feel comfortable with ourselves and all the pain and rejection we have to suffer from everybody else. So, with that in mind, one would hope that we wouldn't be so judgemental and actually step back and try to understand others before criticizing them -no matter what's their condition-. You should get real.

The younger they get a sex change the better because if it's done before puberty hits they will often look like a real woman, no large hands, wide shoulders, deep voice, etc.

Sometimes the person will know at a young age. I think it depends on the individual.

Your way of bucking up the victim comes off as victimizing them all over again. People have very real conditioned ways of responding to abuse, and if they respond in the manner which you seem to hold in contempt, they often can't summon the kind of energy you're advocating until that kind of response is conditioned in as well.

Well in the beginning I was being very calm about it.. I made a sarcastic joke that spun certain people into a fiery rage. And from there everyone acted as though they knew who I was.. no matter what I said in response. So yeah, it got to the point where I was enraged as well.

Like I told fucker through Private message... I'm certainly not perfect... I can admit when I'm wrong. But a lot of people WERE judging me on my opinion.

I know what this 16 year-old must have felt.. I understand why she did it. I just felt it was wrong for someone to have it done at such a young age. He never got to fully understand himself. His parents just let their son have risky life changing surgery done... and it upset me.

And of course, I made the mistake of saying I think sex changes are weird and people took it as me being close minded. Whether their reaction was in how I responded or what I responded with.. I don't know. But it was incredibly ridiculous.
