Paige and Tim were terrible.

I couldn't believe the judges liked Katie so much last night. I thought she was terrible.

Crystal was really good, but that song was such a safe choice for her. Her predictability is boring. Every week she comes out with a guitar and she sings some completely expected song and she performs it well and that's that. Where's the risk? Where's the element of surprise? I agree with Kara that she should think about putting her guitar away for a while. I know she said she has "big plans" for next week but I'll believe it when I see it. Anyway... she was good last night and it was nice to see her not looking mad at the world anymore.

Michael Lynche sounded great last night but I still don't like him. His personality rubs me the wrong way, and I hate how he puckers his lips when he's trying to look "serious." He seems very cocky to me. Plus, his song choices are boring to me.

Andrew was TERRIBLE. Sweet God in heaven, he was bad.

Tim Urban's performance was cheesy and embarrassing. He should've gone home weeks ago.

Siobhan was good. She reminds of Michelle from Big Brother 11 with her social awkwardness."

The best part of last night's show was the "Like A Prayer" Glee promo.

Tim was hilarious last night--trying to rock the stage like he's made it big already. I agreed with everything the judges said about his non-singing ass. :lol: He needs a shave as well. If he's going to keep using the pretty boy thing to keep him in...he needs to clean the face up a bit.


I don't know what the hell has happened to Andrew...but geez...he gets worse every week.


Siobhan was awesome, as usual! I love her in all her wackiness!

I may be the only person who likes Aaron, but I think he had one of the best performances last evening. I love that Aerosmith song, and he did a good job with it. He's David Archuleta 2.0.

Agreed with all of this. Plus I liked Aaron too. I love that song and he did it justice. I'm tired of Randy and his describing every performance as pitchy. They started that pitchy critique bullshit in like season 5 now everything is pitchy.

I liked Katie Stevens. She did have a little soul to her performance. She was getting a little into screechy Beyonce territory, but I liked it overall.

Poor Paige is gone. She's so much better than that shitastic performance. Tim is staying. You can tell that the judges insults fire up his teenyboppers even more. I know he gets criticized for not having confidence. Bu i think is faking it. I think he really thinks he is Zac Efron and he's gonna skate by on his looks. Unfortunately when he does finally get voted off idol. I'm sure we'll seem him on Gossip Girl or one of the many white teen dramas.

Tim was terrible last night but he's had two decent to mediocre performances in his entire run thus far, which isn't great at all, but you know what? That's TWO MORE THAN ANDREW OR PAIGE! My god, those two suck. They've delivered a grand total of 0 so far and I hate that they're both skating along (Andrew mostly) because of early hype. The most satisfying part of the night for me was when Simon correctly pointed out the obvious; that they probably overrated Andrew's "Straight Up."

If I had my choice, Andrew would go tonight but it will probably be Paige or Tim.

And I'm with Salemite, I can't stand Michael Gokey.

I was almost certain that it was going to be either Tim or Didi out, but Paige :grrr: WTF she's is a way way better singer!!!! Boy did America get it wrong big time on this one.. :cry::cry:

She sang a different song from last nights, who knows about any backstage stuff going on but i was really surprised on the result. Simon was super harsh about the save also, he praised her in past episodes saying she was the best this and that the one to beat iirc. What a douche.
 
^^ He said that to her eons ago though, and she's laid a big fat goose egg since then, so I don't blame him at all. Anyway, I think the Judge's Save was a stupid idea last season and it remains a stupid idea now.

God yes! All three of those people were worth watching instead of Lacey, Paige, Andrew and Katie. Why these four snoozers made the top 12 is beyond me. And what does Andrew Garcia have to do to make it into the Bottom Three where he belongs?? Lord in the morning, he's given ZERO good performances since the competition began, and still he's kept safe each week! My god people, "Straight Up" was nice but it shouldn't buy you FOUR WEEKS of safety through some of the worst performances in Idol history! Yeah I said it. That load Andrew squeezed out of his ass cheeks onstage this week, and his absolutely hideous treatment of "Genie in a Bottle" was among the biggest dung heaps ever on this show. Ever.

He was super honest. The past is just the past. As it haunts Andrew, so too does it haunt her now. There is no reason to have her singing thinking she might get the save when it isn't even necessary to discuss it. She sang better when she was sick. Besides, she knew it anyway. It was the trim down to top 10 and determining the idol tour. They throw a wrench in the works if they save someone now.

Oh, and Paige is not Crystal or Siobhan, so that also pretty much guaranteed no save.

Personally, I'd rather they tell me up front if they already made up their minds.

Regardless, as I've said, what is good is only good in this season's context. Take it out of that, and Crystal and Siobhan would be the only ones to stand a chance of making the top 12. I don't know WHAT the judges were thinking with this top 24 workup, but I think I'm about done with it. I only watched the results tonight to see if Tim would make it to the tour, something I think idol deserves. He was brought back at random and they thought he'd be fodder, gone in round one. Now they're stuck with him.
 
Crystal and Siohban will pretty much sail through to the finale imo, no ones else seems to be that interesting in the show for me right now except for lee, I just love him but I think if him and big mike were in the bottom, he'd be gone if it comes to it.
 
I think that Tim will be gone next week , my theory is people were voting him onto the tour and now that he's made that he's gone!!!! Plus can't see him doing R & B
 
Paige was super last night after getting through getting eliminated and being told straight out she wasn't going to get any second chances no matter how the judges felt about her potential.She had disappointed in recent weeks and lTuesday night plain sucked.Hope she does keep at it,maybe this is the best thing for her because she has a great powerhouse of a voice when she's on.At least she went out like a trooper.

Tim doesn't seem to really want to work to get better(nice slide,though) and that attitude sickens me more than the lustiness of his form attracts me.For God's sake Kris Allen doesn't have an incredible voice but he worked his sweet ass to deserve going as far as he did.Tim wants to have fun...well there are a lot of smalltime joints and coffee houses he can have all the fun he wants,if he goes next week without making an effort good riddance.He's this year's Jason Castro...happy to coast and goof off,not serious about the competition save his surprisingly effective"Hallelujah"three weeks back.

And why hasn't the truly mediocre Andrew not once been in the bottom three?It's beginning to annoy me.

Is that what she said? I thought she said that Ryan just wants her to sing to him alone, or something along those lines. That's why I was a bit shocked to hear Simon say that he and her needed to talk. I thought Simon semi-outed Ryan or something.

Simon makes comments about Ryan's sexuality ALL THE TIME. Nothing to be shocked about. I remember during a Melinda Doolittle critic he told Ryan to come out of his closet, of course the framework of the conversation made it appear it was a literal closet but anyone with half a brain understood what was actually being said.
 
Horrible season for AI. Their two guests were embarrassing.

I could always remember the contestants names before -- nothing this year. Maybe they should look at shortening the season.

Only thing interesting was when the black dude picked up Ryan. I laughed.
