I place James Franco in the "possible but not likely" category. For some reason, he has never really made my gaydar ping. But then again, he has been involved in gay rights lately. He may just be an ally, or he may really be gay. I don't know. Emile Hirsch and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are also vague possibilities in my mind, though I have no real basis other than their recent appearances in LGBT-related movies (Milk and Taking Woodstock for Emile, Latter Days and Mysterious Skin for Joseph) and that's hardly conclusive proof.

This is VERY odd... because I occasionally get e-mail alerts from a gay website that has been reporting just what I said. Furthermore, one of his so-called friends has been requesting (he sent the website a letter) that they stop reporting on him for fear that his career has been hurt. They also published photos of Bomer kissing another man.

He openly attends gay bars in LA, and walks around looking pretty fucking nelly with friends, but I don't think he's ever come out and said that he's gay.
 
i bet its someone young. who else would need help coming out.like said already on this thread if people wanted to come out they would. my guess is its taylor lautner. nobody can stop you from coming out its illegal

I read Hillbuzz, and they have this article out of left field. In there, they say

Look for this sort of thing to happen with Jake Gyllenhaal, Matthew McConnaugHEYGIRL, John Travolta, David Hyde Pierce, Tim Curry, Elijah Wood, and other male actors still in the closet.

They don't mention anything about a big announcement but I never saw someone credibly lump Matt in the closet, so he'd be a left field outie.

I would be SO happy if it were Jake, but there is no chance in hell that happening with Prince of Persia coming out at the end of May. I'd be just as happy if it were Zachary, though.

The thing that intrigues me is the fact that this is supposedly a big, well-known celebrity, not a b-lister.

It may be George Clooney. People have speculated about him for years. He's always just sort of laughed the rumors off.

I had another thought, too. Since there are indications that it may be a woman, it could be Oprah. If she came out of the closet it would certainly turn some heads. It would be good timing, too since her talk show is about to end.
 
I don't think it's gonna be a huge start like people are mentioning. I have a feeling we are all gonna be disappointed.
 
I'll be happy regardless who it is, I think it's just awesome that more gay people are coming out.
