Sweet Sacrifice is a great choice, but Cloud Nine would have worked too.

If I could choose a song to be the single it would have to be "Like You", but after having "Lithium" come out, it is better to have a harder song.

I love almost all the songs on the CD and am fine with Sweet Sacrifice being the single!

I disagree with you both but that's okay. I think that Sweet Sacrifice was a poor choice. It was the only song that I didn't really care for on the CD. But who knows, maybe it'll grow on me.

Cloud Nine would've been an awesome choice for the third single..but maybe next time.

It's a fair comment, we like different songs on the album. But I do think they should (and probably will) release Cloud Nine.

^I don't blame you, dude. It took me at least 6 listens to actually like the album. It has to grow on some of us.

It is unlikely that 'Like You' would ever become a single because it seems to be the new 'Hello' for the second album. They were both written by Amy about her sister and I am not 100% on this, but I don't think they have performed it or ever will just like 'Hello'.

As for "Sweet Sacrifice" being the next single, well I was expecting that. Should be a kickass video. But I do agree that 'Cloud Nine' or 'Lacrymosa' would be more edgy and cool choices. I also thing that 'Snow White Queen' could create a really amazing and creepy video.

I was disappointed that CMWYS was the first single, since I felt that it was too commercial for them.

I would love "Weight of the World" to be a single, but I don't think it's possible.

Have you ever heard of Nightwish? They're a Gothic Opera group. Try listening to a couple of theirs, and then try Open Door again. It might help you make your mind up. Yeah, the album's differemt than the first, but to me that was good. Fallen was a great album, but too many bands come back with 'debut album: version 2.0'
