Rupaul's Drag Race Season 5

Number 15 is Robbie from Make me a supermodel i believe season 2 and he did very well on the show. Coco and Roxxxy need to go cause they are complaining too much cause they do rely on their looks only. They go after Jinkx because she can pull off beauty and has a great personality and is funny
 
It took this long in the season for the competition to actually "start". I knew Ivy was going home, which was why I snoozed on this episode. I can't tell what Ru will do with the final 6. As much as I'd like to see Coco go home I think she's been pretty consistent and the remaining queens have had their highs and lows.

My prediction, starting from the person who leaves next to the winner: Alyssa > Roxxxy > Coco > Detox > Alaska > *Jynx*
 
I liked Alyssa early on, but I feel like something is bugging me about her lately. I was hoping she'd go over Ivy. I think Coco should have been in the bottom with Alyssa, but based on the perfume ad + dress of the night, I guess Ivy's was worse. And like Ru, I will also miss hearing "Ivvvyy Winteeers" because it made me chuckle every time.

guest judge o'day was utterly useless during the shoot. she at least had some zingers during the runway show, but i almost fell off the chair when she critisized alyssa for her crazy face. the one person on this show whos making even crazier faces than alyssa was o'day herself!

anyway, jinkx is crushing on ivy. you and me both, jinkx, you and me both. i cant say im too sad to see her go, tho... im actually surprisd she made it this far. im assuming that she had some talent that just didnt translate that well across the screen, because she mostly just came across as nice but bland.

I've read that Ivy is a fire eater, stilt walker, and sword juggler none of which really works in this format. It's an interesting fact but they're not exactly classic drag abilities.

I really liked Alaska & jinxx this week

Coco needs to get a reality check... she acts like she is 12 when she is actually the oldest queen (I think?) she needs to take some god damn responsibilty for herself and stop blameing others....

Roxxy was tacky & forgetable this week..her runway outfit looked a bit like a fat woman trying to fit into her jumpsuit from the 70s....

Detox's commercial was good but her runway look was not very polish and why is it that her dresses are allways to short?

Ivy i think was fine to go home she had good sewing schools but thats it boring face and her constant laughing was starting to annoy me

Alaska i really liked her this week and was glad to see she changed up her runway look.. her look reminded me of 80s power bitch mixe with Grace Jones in the movie Vamp

Jinxx< was good too what i like about her & alaska is they comit to the charactar 100% and they are very strong in what this charactar is about which I think it was this compition is about.. its not about weather you are camp,clubby whatever its just about finding someone who is committed 100% which I think alot of the other queens they dont have such strong ideas about who they are they just do alittle of everything...

Well, I think I understand why Coco was so pissed that her dress bombed with the judges. I mean she went all the way to Africa and killed God-knows how many Zebras just to be told it wasn't good enough. Bitch please, don't nobody want to see you in ghetto fabulous on RuPaul. That shit is for Amateur Night at the club, not Drag Race.
 
I loved last nights episode! Alyssa had me laughing out loud once again and that lip sync with Coco was probably good closure for the both of them. Definitely one of the best lip syncs of all 5 seasons. Detox being vulnerable actually made me like her a lot more so I hope she can remain that way. Roxxxy, fierce runway. Jynx had me rolling on the floor with her performance as well and her runway was actually pretty good.
 
i dont have a lot to say about this ep; it was another good one, though.
jinkx is so clearly the frontrunner by now, and im so happy about it.
alaska is doing well. roxxy was surprisingly strong.
detox is alright, but whenever i look at her, all i can see is a 2nd rate chad michaels. i think the similarities are much stronger than alaska/sharon.
the lip-synch was pretty epic. coco gets to stay, which doesnt surprise me at all. shes gonna be top 3, for the same reson rebecca glasscock and phiphi ohara (and santino rice, for that matter) were top 3.
bye, alyssa! im weirdly fond of her. shes constantly entertaining, even if unintentionally so.
 
I enjoyed this episode.

I was sad to see Alyssa go, but it was her time. I would have rather have seen Coco leave since I'm over her.

Detox is really impressing me less and less as time goes on. If she doesn't step it up, I could see her not making it to the final 3.

Alaska was great and so was Jinkx. I think those two are the front-runners right now.

Roxxxy looked good last night. If she keeps it up, I can see her in the final 3.

We'll see how next week's episode goes. The makeover episodes can be very iffy for me because I don't always agree with judges critiques and opinions on how well the queen made over whomever she was paired with.
 
pretty boring episode for me this week dont really have much to say about

others than roxy is getting more and more obnoxious and the fact she wants jinxx out because she is treaten and dosent want to be in the final with her just puts her off even more... if it was me I would want to be in the final with someone equal to me and not with someone i would think were on a lower level. but I guess that was make the difference between the pagant girls & the other queens...

I been watching Ru Paul's Drag Race from the very first season & episode. For me Alyssa's and Coco's personal concerns were a distraction & a drag on season 5.

seriously, you guys.

i was wondering why the pit crew was barely in frame in the beginning. its because its the make-over episodes, and this year its with HUNKY FUCKING MARINES. detox' marine was hot to death, although alaskas and cocos boys were gorge, too.

jinkx: if she doesnt win this season, i may have to amend my previous statement about loving this show. there is really no competition at this stage. her marine was super sweet, and his stories were heartbreaking. the two of them were great on the runway.

roxxy: i dont like her at all, she has no taste, and shes one of those people whos broken on the inside, so theyre extra obnoxious on the outside. but i gotta say, this was a deserved win. her sister looked amazing. that padding? my jaw dropped.

coco: "my sister is serving showgirl, and im giving them red carpet" uhm, coco, you say it as if that was a good thing. anyway, goodbye, we wont miss you, you bitter old queen. her make-up on her marine was ridiculously bad, possibly the worst ever on this show. i have to give the producers some credit, i was sure coco was gonna be top 3 for maximum drama.

detox: i just dont know about her. throughout this competition, it seemed like she was always on the backburner. i assumed that shes such a professional that she feels like shes above it all, but now i wonder. maybe she just cant do better.

alaska: i had to laugh so hard, her sister was prettier than her. also, "alaska & nebraska thunderfuck", thats just too fabulous for words. anyway, safe seems about right. the catburgler costumes were cool, but the padding was atrocious.
 
Not much to say about this week's episode but... bleh. Alaska's dude was so pretty as a girl though! Detox's Marine in drag reminded me a little bit of Phi Phi (not a good thing).

Ru, please just crown a winner so we can get to season 6. There were no interesting characters this season but Jinx and maybe Alyssa. Not a season I'll be rewatching. So far my fav season has got to be season 3 with Raja and the Heathers.
 
I feel like Roxxxy Andrews wears the SAME DAMN THING in a different print every week. It worked for her & her trooper this challenge, but I'm so bored with her runway presentation.

I expected better from Alaska & Detox's lip synch was on point/fun to watch.

Coco leaving is a-ok with me.
