Kingpin50, I am right there with you! I am not sure why they don't put salt and pepper on the table. Is it:
1. The chef thinks his food is perfectly seasoned and he cannot comprehend anyone ever needing additional salt and or pepper?
2. Patrons keep stealing the shakers?
3. It is a pain in the ass to keep filled so they just don't bother?
4. The restaurant is operating on such thin margins that it can't afford to have them?

I don't have the answer but I agree whole heartily that it pisses me off, too.

Actually, it's offensive to some chefs to, "alter" their creations, so they don't give you the opportunity. I've been taught that if salt and pepper are not on the table, never ask for it.

Hey guys. This is a little bit off (this) topic, but I posted a good while back in the 2015 post about my family. My mom is doing well. "Cancer-free" isn't the right word, but she has no issues to be worried about at this time. Though, now she finds it pertinent to check my throat for lumps when she sees me (which is once a week!) I understand why, though.

My brother is doing great too. The divorce is final and we haven't heard from Crazy in quite some time. Though, it was odd, she wished me a happy birthday via Facebook. Said my thanks and moved past. I don't really have anything to say to her, I guess. Anyway, I'm sure most of you don't remember or know me, and that's okay. But for those who do, all is well.

it's like a lot of these guys that are APART of the problem don't want to own up to it. they basically make up excuses or defend each other going like "why do you give a fuck?" i find it hilarious for davey wavey to basically say "respect your elders" when his whole gimmick is based on marketing himself and others under the "youthful, scared to age, sex, sex, sex, negative stereotypes, what's wrong with the gay community" culture. the "peter pan" bullshit that has to do with fear of growing up and getting older. it's like are you serious? dude profits off of that shit. his words are basically in vain. he's just trying to make himself appear likeable while at the same time contradicting himself.

I have only seen a few of Davey's videos. I find him unappealing in the extreme.
But for him to say he supports older gays and criticizes the gay community that judges others based on their looks is not backed up by his actions. From what I could tell from the videos I saw, he surrounds himself with carbon copies of Davey.
It's kind of like a white guys saying they are not racist, but don't have any black/asian/latino friends or someone who claims he is not homophobic, then says he doesn't know any gay people.

Exactly. Another sad thing is how any criticism towards Davey or these popular guys in among us gay men or companies guilty of doing this is countered with the whole "you're a hater" or avoidance of the issue being addressed..it's like they.shame people for speaking up on it

It annoys me how discussions about racism among gay people basically revolves around individuals basically upset that someone who is of another ethnicity or skin color rejected them for being a certain ethnicity or skin color. Don't get me wrong. That shit is fucked up but in terms of racism and prejudiced among gay people, "sexual racism" is really not an issue compared to actual racism which can be found in some gay right organizations, gay bars, gayborhoods, media outlets and etc. That is an issue. I think the problem is how the whole entire lgbtq community has simply become some shit that has been centered around white supremacy and the biggest way this is shown is the overrepresentation of white men to the point where if you aren't white, you are made to feel like you don't belong or are stereotyped in the case of black men.

Queerty is guilty of this shit. It's sad how the words gay or lgbt has become a code word for white and that's simply because it's an intentionally done by certain people in power.

I know that some people in here will get butt hurt but I don't see what I'm saying is wrong by basically saying the lgbtq universe is basically become a haven to promote white supremacy. I didn't know being gay had to do with skin color yet that's what I constantly see.


I also have to wonder why someone would want to be accepted or feel bad about being rejected by racist pieces of shit or let alone have preferences where they basically shoot folks down and all this wild shit. Its ridiculous. I also think it's ironic that you'll have a nonwhite gay crying about a white guy rejecting him for being black but refuse to date someone black like him. There's so much bullshit that its sad. No sense at all.

Why don't you join some of these groups and work your way up and change people's perceptions of them.
