We all have biases that are conscious or subconscious. They aren't necessarily bad or good.
A while ago, I realized I was an ageist. I didn't think I was better than people who were under or over a certain age, but I did not want to date or have sex with them.
That's not my fault and feeling that way did not make me a bigot. However, it was really helpful to acknowledge I felt that way and I made the decision to work on being more open-minded.
You're not a racist for not being attracted to black guys (if that's your thing). However, it'd be interesting to think to yourself, why? Is it b/c they are black? Or is it b/c you associate certain physical features with being black?
I think it's better to say that you're just not into guys with certain features or guys with dark skin... b/c I've met guys who were black with green eyes, soft hair, a light complexion, etc etc.
The reason it hurt to be turned down b/c of my race.. is b/c that meant it didn't matter what I looked like.. it just mattered that I had a certain background, something that is completely out of my control and honestly has little bearing on who I am whatsoever.
Lucky you are one of the hottest guys on JUB and its not only the way you look. its the way you think and act.
You are hot because of you you are, as well as what you look like.
