It is really sad to read some of the transphobic comments here. There is such staggering ignorance about what makes up a person's sexual identity. The idea that you define someone by whether they have a penis or vagina indicates that people haven't even taken the least bit of time or effort to understand the complexities of human chemistry and sexuality.

For homos to be bandying about terms like 'Freak' or Mentally Ill is pretty fucking arrogant given the number of straight people out there who think the same about us.

There's no doubt that Caitlyn Jenner is a media fame whore. None at all. And there's no doubt that Caitlyn has not proven to be the ideal model for other transexuals to look up to...shallow, spoiled, judgemental and disconnected from the real struggles that 90% of other transexuals go through because of the ET/Kardashian fame machine and money tree.

But I am more than happy to give any individual the respect for their choice to live as the gender they feel most comfortable and happy with. Whether they choose to maintain the external genitalia they were born with means nothing because it has been medically proven that sex organs alone do not define sexual identity.

I also have no trouble with the concept that transexuals may waver back and forth in their identity any more than I have trouble with the idea that bisexuals experience a spectrum of sexual attraction to males and females.

Caitlyn i believe would be devastated if she was to just sink into oblivion.

There has been mention of her mental state, i am not a clinical psychologist, but our practice has the good fortune to have one on retainer. She has proved invaluable, as more and more, patients are being treated in the community rather than waiting for a hospital appt. She told me once that the eyes truly were the windows into a person's psyche.

Have a look at the photo Pat posted on page 1. I am sure it was choosing to show Caitlyn in the most unattractive way. However, spend a few moments looking into those eyes. They are devoid of emotion, very cold, almost reptilian in appearance.

I am of the opinion that she has serious psychological issues, almost Sociopathic in appearance.

I have even entertained the thought that she is doing this for the drug she so desperately craves, publicity and yet more publicity.

Contrary to popular belief, the eyes don't speak. I repeat - they do not speak. I'd like to think that as "I saw yes in her eyes" doesn't generally fly on a jury these days than it won't go far here. Since eyes can't give consent then they sure as shit won't be saying much along the lines of "I feel vaguely stressed and the lighting isn't the best, so apologies for my lack of a gleaming smile and those friendly wrinkles ya'll like but I was just being busy here, you know, crossing the street and suchlike things." I've spoken to people who use the slogan, My Body My Gender. Which is fair enough.

But I noticed their new demand last year— WE demand transgender rights – and the right to have surgery or not. — which seems to be their way of obfuscating between transvestites and transsexuals.

It's none of my business what people do with their bodies except—

1. when transsexuals expect the taxpayer-funded medical service to pay for all that genital mutilation/modification and remodification surgery.

2. when they indulge in massive guilt-tripping and expect schools and other public services to pay for extra showers and toilet cubicles to cope with transvestites, anxious parents and potty-peepers.

Oh, no, I agree she lives in a fantasy land. I'd bet most of the uber-rich do, as well as the majority of republicans, unfortunately. I just don't think going by eyes in a picture is how to diagnose someone of anything.

As for morning my ass still hasn't gone to bed so the good, while hopeful, is debatable from this direction. My own fault, I'm waiting on a package early in the morning and I don't want 'em to leave it on the steps again.

I also have to say, from experience, when talking to someone, who has come to you for something. The eyes can and do tell you a lot.
Even if you wish to disregard the photo, just look at her eyes in many scenes. Very calculating, and they do show a lack of empathy
even for others in her position.

Some members have stated that she should get her penis inverted and her testicles removed. Another has stated she would not do this because she would not have any feeling, as in an orgasm.
That last part is just very ignorant, some nerves are severed, others are re-connected to give sensation.

What has to be said is that a person of her age undergoing such an invasive and major procedure is really awash with risks, everything from the General Anathesia, to the potential of recovery, and the extreme risk of infection.
I am sure she has researched this, and perhaps even discussed the procedure with a specialist surgeon. Just something for people to think about.

Sorry, but I don't support the trans agenda. It's inherently homophobic and misogynistic. There's something seriously wrong when CHILDREN are allowed hormones. We have no idea what the health effects are. I say do whatever the fuck you want as an adult. If you want to go on hormones and have the srs at 18, fine. But before then it should be BANNED. Parents only put children on hormones because it's easier to accept a fake straight child than a gay one anyway. Homophobic parents putting children who do not adhere to strict gender norms on puberty blockers is a HUGE problem. These kids would most likely grow up to be gay or lesbian. Close to 80 % of the GID children grow up to be GAY or LESBIAN, NOT transgender. This is why I believe the whole ideology is homophobic. The gay and lesbian movement has always been about accepting people AS THEY ARE, whether they are femme guys or masculine women, it doesn't make them any less of a man or a woman. The trans agenda tells them there is something wrong with them and they have to change to fit in.

There's also something seriously wrong when MEN can now enter all female-only spaces, including locker rooms and rest rooms. It's enough to claim you "feel" like a woman and ALL rapists, pedophiles etc will get access. This is why I'm against the bathroom bills. And before you call me a "bigot", if you don't want to sleep with a man with a vagina, according to the trans lobby you too are a bigot, as are drag queens and everyone who doesn't agree to 100 % of the trans ideology. If you just question it, if you respect trans people, refuse to use trans slurs, if you support anti-discrimination based on gender in housing, employment and other civil rights, but are still against the bathroom bill, then you are branded "transphobic". I support trans people even though I don't believe gays and lesbians have anything in common with them, actually.. our goals are opposite (i.e. accepting people as they are vs saying there is something "wrong" with them if they don't adhere to gender norms and they need to change). According to trans people I am a bigot, even though I support most of what they are fighting for, i.e. anti-discrimination bills in employment and housing. I just cannot accept the bathroom bills, or putting children on hormones.

Last but not least, ask yourself why countries like IRAN allow gay men to choose between a free srs to live as a fake woman or be thrown off a rooftop to their death as a gay man. If that isn't proof that the trans agenda is conservative and regressive I don't know what is.

Three sentences in and I have to point out that children don't take hormones unless there's a medical reason other than transition. Tweens might take hormone blockers but they're not the same thing. Which shows your understanding of the topic, when you think some early teenager on blockers is akin to some toddler getting steroids or whatever it is you think people are advocating for. I didn't read the rest of it considering the blatant inaccuracy I found so early on- tee el dee ar and all that.

I have a question of my own. Where's your gender box, my willfully, hatefully ignorant little friend? I seem to remember you had the temerity to switch yours way back when, it used to say 'F' on here. Then it changed to 'M' and people had a few questions. You did it for shits and giggles, I suppose.
